N O COLORS ANYMORE * I WANT THEM TO TURN BLACK ❚ WORDS --- ❚ TAGS someone ❚ NOTES text text text text text text "Poor aim? Say those words before you dodge." Snarled Shinzu as the blast of heat ignited the table and melted down the cutlery on it. Before much else could happen, Durriken would begin to shed several of his feathers, which in a rather familiar twist, he would send forwards in a deadly swarm. Knowing full well how to deal with a spell that was originally his however, the teen would quite simply stand his ground as a black blur began to form in front of him. Much like a endless vortex, this blur would then begin snatching up everything in its reach, including bits of the floor, tables, chairs and even a few of the incoming feathers as it grew to gargantuan proportions before dissipating to reveal a strange golem with two dragon heads and a pair of angelic wings, the later being a harsh contrast to its rather violent personality. Although a third of Durriken's feathers were now non-existent, the remaining would still manage to make its way to the towering beast, which would serve to make the perfect defensive wall against the attack. "Did you really think I was incapable of defending against a attack which you so rightly claim as one of my own?" Despite his boasting, Shinzu's words would be drowned out by the fierce sound of his summoned creature who would roar in agony as the foes black feathers pelted its body, leaving lacerations across the face stretched across its midsection. In retaliation to this, Fortitudo would snarl before unleashing a beam of energy from the dragon-like appendages it uses as arms. Though the beam itself would be rather thin and easy to dodge, what the teen was betting on would be the aftermath of the attack which would cause a explosion that would decimate the area within a 20 meter radius of wherever the attack would hit. Mana: 87/105
Spell Name: Virtue of Fortitude and the Bringer of Flame, Fortitudo Level: Destructive Range: Long Description: By focusing intently, the user can warp their very surroundings, causing bits of debris and other objects in the environment to merge at a single point to form a colossal golem. The golem itself takes the form of a immensely large creature with a pair of angelic wings and two dragon heads that act as arms. Lower down, the golem also has two legs with multiple talons and a long muscular tail that has some sort of golden vine-like structure wrapped around it. The most prominent feature however is the upside down face stretched across the beasts torso, which seems to posses intellect unlike the mindless and more vicious dragon heads which are seen protruding from either side of its back. Overall, the golem appears to be heavily armoured in what appears to be gold, the majority of which on the top which seem to be sprouting outward and around the twin dragon heads like branches. Not only does the creature posses immense durability and raw physical strength, but once every three posts it can fire a beam of highly concentrated energy from either of its dragon heads that can reach a maximum distance of 40 meters before decimating the area hit in a fiery inferno which can span a maximum of 20 meters. Drawback: The golem possesses a high level of intellect and will usually carry out the summoners will, however it can be provoked into doing things that may be outside of the mages best interest. Each limb including the body can withstand a single attack of a lower rank than the spell before being destroyed. Heavily damaging the body will destroy most of the creatures cognitive function, causing the entire golem to go berserk. Once per thread use only. |

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]DURRIKEN--PETULENGRO “ the sin which is unpardonable is knowingly and willfully rejecting truth, to fear knowledge lest that knowledge pander not to thy prejudices” Durriken's eyes fogged over as the beam came at him. He saw it near slow motion and he also saw overlays of the possible future, he saw the beam hitting the area that he was planning to dodge out of and then saw himself getting caught in the explosion. With this images overlaid in his head like a bad collage, he pushed his speed further and turned as he sped off to Shinzu right, his left as the beam hit and he was well out of the disaster zone. Once he was done moving his eyes would uncloud returning to their previous clarity as the overlays vanished. "Tisk tisk Shinzu, need to try harder, though not as powerful or as precise as my matron the High Priestess, I have gained some of her insight abilities through my time with her." He half gloated half bluffed to Shinzu. It was true he had limited knowledge of the future but it was not good enough to actually do anything with unless he pushed his speed to the absolute limit to dodge. He then called the feathers back to him quickly mixing the feathers with his cards before the feathers swarmed around the creatures head focusing just on the head. When the feathers were near Durriken, the Eight of Wands got mixed in with the feathers, being hidden within them before the swarm attacked the head. Right when the card left Durriken activated its magic and four seconds later (right at the end of this post techincally) the card would explode doing and intermediate amount of damage to the head and destroying the remaining feathers. Living Blur: Anyone who learns this can run and generally move faster allowing them to completely evade one spell or attack of up to Destructive level per thread. Speed Stat is also increased by 50%. (This was combined with my Divination Magic Class ability to use this on things I cannot see coming)
Magic Buster Low: 1 of 2 This skill will boost the power of all offensive spells. Allowing the user to cast two spells per thread as if it was a level higher than what it normally is (like casting a greenhorn spell as if it was Feeble, ect). Magic Attack is also increased by 20%.
Effected by Magic Buster Low Mediocre Range: 30 Yards Description: This card can be used in two ways. Right before activation is can stiffen allowing it to be thrown or it can stealthily slipped into someone’s possession before being set off. This card can be activated at any distance and after four seconds will explode. Drawback: Requires Eight of Wands to cast. Takes three posts for the card to magically reappear in the user’s tarot deck.

N O COLORS ANYMORE * I WANT THEM TO TURN BLACK ❚ WORDS --- ❚ TAGS someone ❚ NOTES text text text text text text A blaze of flames would erupt from the beams epicenter before becoming consumed by black tendrils of smoke. This smoke would then explode outward, though the majority of which would be blocked by the golems gargantuan figure which Shinzu took care in remaining behind. "How did you manage that, gypsy?" Howled the teen as Durriken's figure appeared out of the smoke towards his right which would then clear to completely reveal the foe and his smug expression. "The high priestess? So you are using her power..." At the end of his sentence Shinzu would take a defensive stance as Durriken unleashed a swarm of feathers and tarot cards, however much to his surprise, the attack appeared to be intended for another target. With the golem blinded from taking a face full of the smoke, he would be unable to comprehend what was happening as the barrage of attacks cut their way into the beasts flesh, causing its wings and arms to flail around violently. Though one attack alone was barely enough to leave behind a scratch; this relentless assault was starting to leave behind painful-looking gash marks. Before much else could unfold however, the entirety of Durriken's attack would quite simply explode, blowing the golem back a step, the act of which nearly causing it to crush Shinzu if not for the fact that he would leap back a few steps the moment the sound of his foes explosion would reach his eardrums. "And now, you have doomed us both..." Hissed the teen as the face stretched across the beasts torso crumbled away into a mass of rubble and black blood. The eyes on the golems dragon-like arms would then begin to take on a strong red hue, a rather eery glow that just seemed to scream 'danger'. With a fierce howl, both of the serpents would stretch their mouths wide, revealing rows upon rows of jagged teeth that looked as if they could tear through a man in two. This point would later be proved as one of the dragon heads sudden sunk its teeth onto the 'neck' of its brother, causing the two to part with all manner of beastly noises before eventually it would quite simply rip through the flesh and tear off its sibling before charging at wall and crashing into it repeatedly like a mindless creature. "At this point... Anyone attracting its attention will be its next meal." Shifting his gaze back to Durriken, Shinzu would squint in eyes in frustration before leaping backwards once more, this time to create a 10 meter gap between him and his foe. The teens gaze would then shift towards the ground directly towards his left, causing the area to begin distorting before fading back to reveal a white urn with golden symbols carved all around it. "Now then Durriken, this urn shall seal your fate, as well as your ashes." The taunt was to attract the foes attention. If the gypsy was being observant, he would probably notice that Shinzu's eyes had also taken on a demonic red glow at this point, a side effect from activating his rings power. Mana: 67/105
Spell Name: Devour and Restore, Urn of Gaia Level: Destructive Range: Long Description: Upon focusing on a central point, the user can conjure a small white urn painted in golden symbols and intricate patterns. The area within a 40 meter radius of the urn will then become contaminated in a yellow aura that's always rising upwards, giving it a jagged appearance. This aura is the very power stored within the earth itself including those connected to the earth such as plant life, animals and even mages in the immediate vicinity of the spell. This spell then allows the user to drain all that energy through the power of the urn, causing all the plant life to die and any other living creatures to feel weakened. Each post all mages and magical creatures will find 30% of their magical energy drained, though the amount the user will receive is always capped at 30% per post regardless of the number of enemies effected. Drawback: The radius of the spell does not follow the user around and rather is fixed around the urn, so anyone caught inside can simply leave it to escape its effects. The user must also always remain in the vicinity of the spell to receive its boost, leaving for a even a second will cause the urn to disintegrate and all its magic power to be lost forever. Does not distinguish between allies and foes and costs 20 mana to summon. The spell can be destroyed by a attack of equal rank and can only be used once per thread.
Name: Ring of Malmortius Level: Mediocre Description: A special black ring that seems to be littered in tiny veins of orange. Overall it has a simplistic appearance, its shape being nothing more than something that looks like it was sliced right off from a small black cylinder. Strangely, the ring can change it size to best fit the wearers fingers and is constantly oozing a demonic red energy whenever active. Once the user does decide to use the rings power, his eyes will take on a unnatural crimson red hue. The first to make eye contact with the user, whether ally or foe, will then come under the rings curse, locking them in a horrifying illusion until eye contact is broken for a full post. Anyone under the rings curse will find the very scenery around them warp into a pitch black room, where the only thing they will be able to see are numerous blood red circles, each one inside another like a target shape to indicate where the floor is. The user and anyone else the target considers a enemy will also be visible along with any spells they cast, however allies and their voice will be lost to this dark realm. Every post a chain will burst through the ground and impale the victim, rooting him in place while inflicting a great deal of pain. Drawback: As well as effecting allies as well as enemies, the user can also be cursed by the rings effects if he gazes into a reflective surface. If at any point the mage under the curse realizes that it is nothing more than a illusion the chains will stop attacking and any already on him will break off from the ground, giving the mage back his mobility. The pain will not simply vanish however until the illusion comes to a complete end which is achieved through breaking eye contact with the user. Alternatively, the target could also spend a mediocre amount of energy to cause the illusion to end prematurely after one post. Once per thread only. Price and Availability: Mission reward only. |

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]DURRIKEN--PETULENGRO “ the sin which is unpardonable is knowingly and willfully rejecting truth, to fear knowledge lest that knowledge pander not to thy prejudices” When Durriken saw the monster start to go on a blind rampage he plucked a fire card from the cloud and activated it. When he did so a cloud of thick black smoke began to emerge from the card surrounding him. In a ten-yard radius around him the cloud formed hiding him from sight. Once the smoke formed around him he pulled out the mirror from his bag and held it close so he would be able to see it through the smoke. Show me Shinzu he thought mentally to his magic as it flared and he saw the image of the man outside of the cloud in his minds-eye through the mirror. It was an aerial view that did not show his eyes just yet. The combination let him see outside of the cloud while still being hidden by it which would give him a temporary edge even if anything more than talking would break his concentration and make him have to recast the spell. He couldn't see the urn appear when Shinzu summoned it but he did feel the man's extreme use of magical energy and then felt his own magical energy start to drain. He felt a bit woozy and nearly fell from the sudden loss of mana. He could just make out the urn from the edge of the cloud through his mirror but he didn't know what it did outside of stealing his magic away. ((Durriken loses 20 mana due to urn)) Feeble Range:10 Foot Radius Description: From the card black smoke will emerge at a high rate of speed. After one post the entire spherical radius will be filled with the magical smoke. This smoke does not limit breathing but does limit sight limiting it to only 3 feet in front of anyone including the user. Drawback: Four of Wands to cast. Limited by the tarot card sustainment table.
Mediocre Range: N/A Description: Through the use of a scrying mirror or crystal ball the mage is able to observe a person they have come in contact with before. If the person being viewed is in an area the viewer has not seen before they will only be able to observe the person's movement in a black void. If the person being viewed is in an area the mage is familiar with they will see the background around the person with any changes being fuzzy or hazy. Drawback: Require mirror or crystal ball. Can't perform other tasks while performing the spell.
