[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... Why was she in clover again? Ah. Food. Her stomach rumbled and she moved a hand over it. She was craving something that was unusual and definitely made with the hands of a master. Clover had one of the best café known to Fiore, at least in Eucliwood's eyes.
Walking in without a word and sitting down at the nearest seat she could find, her silver hair fell over the chair and she examined the menu before writing down on a notepad the list of food she wanted and then the name of her drink. Finally some waiter came around, asking for her order and she shown them the paper. Nodding, they headed off and she leaned back against the chair.
The time seemed to slowly pass by and soon enough the waiter was back with her drink and her breadsticks. Taking a bread stick and taking a small and soft bite, her legs hung over the chair and kicked at the thin air due to her relatively small child-like size. Stares were obviously focused on her metal armor, but she heed not any sign of caring. Taking another bite, she leaned back and stretched. She was tired but that was because she was finally able to relax.

A man walked over and sat down across from Eucliwood. He had a strange air about him full of contradictions and differences. He wore what many would describe as punk or hipster cloths but had an aura around him of astuteness. His pants were ripped, his face was full of piercings, and his leather jacket was decorated with chains, but he also had a face that showed that he had money and power. It had a confidence that not much else would cause.
The waiter was about to scold the man for disturbing the lady but as soon as he saw it was Artemis he made a quick turn and quickly walked away returning with a mixed drink and leaving it without saying a word.
Artemis had power, he lead the soon to be largest crime group in all of Fiore though from looking at him you wouldn't be able to tell. His deceitful nature, charismatic personality, and rare magic made his takeover of the Fiore underground swift and easy.
"Now, it is such a crime for a pretty girl like you to be sitting alone on a nice day like this don't you think?" he said warmly on the surface with sliminess hidden deep deep underneath the warmth.
((OOC: In short he seems very nice but if she is very perceptive she can tell he is not all that he seems but she shouldn't be able to tell what it is))

Mr. Snuggles IV had found himself situated beneath the table at a café in some place that he didn't care about cause he realized that once his evil plans had come into play such a place would be a location of terrors that would cause these pitiful humans to kill themselves. Being the rather strange doll that he was, he had been placed promptly underneath the table once a table had been selected for his charming partner in crime, Eucliwood. His mouth had been sewn shut once again, a constant happening as it seemed he had quite the loud mouth and this was one of the few ways to keep him from bellowing useless rabble for hours on end. It was rather silent, as most moments with Eucliwood was and that bugged Snuggles to no end. He wanted excitement, chaos, destruction, death and all those sweet things reinforced with screams of pain and horror. Those thoughts sent a shiver up his non-existent spine as he leaned further against the table's leg.
It was then that he saw an extra pair of legs appear, his heart shape and clock shape eyes looked towards the pair of legs that were now on the opposite side of the table from his partner. His heart shaped eye beat for a few minutes while his clock shape eye released a soft whirring sound as the hands moved before stopping and continuing to keep track of time as it was. He listened closely as he heard a male speak, mentioning a pretty girl sitting alone on a nice day. This caused certain buttons to be pressed as he wasn't entirely fond of people hitting on his 'owner' and in his eyes his 'pet'. He slowly moved beneath the table, moving to Eucliwood before suddenly jumping up her leg and climbing onto her lap. Popping his head up above the table as he looked across the table at the male on the opposite side. Something caught him as strange with this man but he didn't care as he didn't take calmly to his words. It was obvious that his loud, obnoxious mouth was about to open once again as the soft sound of string tearing rang out just loud enough for Eucliwood to hear and the motion being just barely noticeable if the man was paying attention to the doll's mouth.

[14:37:53] Kay Jayachandran: [atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... As she bit into the breadstick and let her legs stop motionless. A feeling of mistrust filled her body and she just ignored it. Suddenly, a male moved and sat on the opposing seat to her. He spoke. "Now, it is such a crime for a pretty girl like you to be sitting alone on a nice day like this don't you think?" Eucliwood watched him, her metallic blue eyes narrowed slightly and she said nothing. The feeling of a soft warmth climbing onto her lap, she could tell her "Partner" just came for a small peek. Deciding best to not fight the rabbit, she picked up her pen and began to write on the notepad. The male in front of her, she couldn't trust him. His features may be describing that he was handsome or in the least of a good value, but Eucliwood paid no heed to that.
She proceeded to write down on the notepad and her other hand would grab another breadstick. She hadn't noticed the waiter place down a new drink and run in fear for this male. Well in retrospect, she had but just decided to let it slide. Finally, she was done writing. The sound of string breaking caused her to close her eyes. Seems like somebody wanted to say something and judging by the fact that it came from her side, there was going to be an outburst.
Moving the paper towards the male, she opened her eyes and looked up at him. The paper said, "Flatter doesn't get you very far for me. It's also strange for a male of your caliber to randomly sit on the opposite side of me. Whatever can I do for you? Make it quick, you're scaring off my food." The last bit was more or less speaking about the waiter and how he would be bringing her food. The male could take it whatever way he liked.

Artemis inwardly smiled when he saw her write on the pad and then pass it to him. His information was correct, which was good news for the person who gave it to him or else they would have been quickly eliminated. This woman was quite interesting, and had a problem that he could easily fix and exploit. Artemis' ear twitched slightly as it picked up the stretching of the threads. If he was a normal person or even a normal mage the sound would have been inaudible but since he dealt specifically with sound and music, there wasn't much he could not hear at this range. Instead of reading the note he tapped it lightly with his finger as his Realm of Control increased to a feeble level which placed it roughly just around their table. When he touched the paper the words rose up off the paper before vanishing. When they vanished a female voice could be heard reading off what was written previously. It was soft yet mildly rough and mildly dark. It was how Artemis pictured her voice sounding. "And you are right, it is quite strange, but not nearly as strange after you hear my offer. You see, your reputation has began to spread around Fiore, and as a mage dealing with sound, I feel that it is a crime for a person to be unable to speak or sing. I come to offer you the ability to speak again...persay. It won't be you directly speaking but a magical item of my making that would allow you to verbalize your thoughts just as I verbalized your written words." And thus Artemis began to work his plan. If this worked, he would finally have his mole within Fairy Tail guild. Those goodie goodies made it really hard to find someone to get reliable information about what happens within the guild. Combine that with the fact that their new guild leader was so powerful, made it hard to find people to infiltrate the guild. In his field, knowledge was power and Fairy Tail currently had the upper hand on him. Name: Realm of Control Type: Symphony of Embodiment Level: Feeble Range: 5 Foot Radius (Passive) Description: This spell represents the passive ability Artemis holds that increases with power and experience. This represents how much space he can control and bend to his will and is required for all other magic he performs. If any effect would leave the realm of control, it instantly vanishes and any foe outside of the realm of control cannot be effected by Artemis' magic.
Name: Audio Book Type: Symphony of Embodiment Level: Feeble Range: Melee Touch Description: This spell allowed a written work to be read aloud instead of needing to be read by sight. Useful for those who are blind, or for the lazy who don't want to read. When activated the words rise off the page they are written on and vanish as they are read in a voice of the user's wishing.

The doll merely watched as this man merely toyed with the paper, the words disappearing only to have a female voice repeating what had been written down on the piece of paper by his partner. Snuggles didn't really take this well as he merely observed what was happening as he offered a deal to give Eucliwood a magical item which would allow her to actually verbalize her thoughts. This was the last straw for the small rabbit of a doll and with a quick thwap of his 'arms' against the table the threading which normally kept his mouth shut burst open. ”Who do you think you are just walking up and trying to make deals with my partner?! She doesn't need some magic item to speak she has her paper and pen and that has been suiting her just fine! She also has me to get the point across and the point is for you to scram cause you're bothering her and her meal!”
[/b] The small stuffed animal said, his voice loud and deep as it seemed to mimic his irritation. He leaned back against Eucliwood, his eyes would be closed at this point if he had eyelids, while his 'arms' crossed in front of his body. ”Why don't you just scram? Stupid offers like that shouldn't even be heard.”[/b] He said, nodded his head as his ears stood up straight and he looked up towards Eucliwood as a grin of sorts had been formed with his steel like teeth. ”You don't need some stupid magical item when you have me.”[/b] He said, the problem seemed to stem down to the belief that he would be replaced with this item and also that he didn't enjoy the sort of smooth talking that this guy was trying to pull on Eucliwood.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[14:37:53] Kay Jayachandran: [atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... Eucliwood was still silent, showing no sign or reacting as he verbalized her voice. It was indeed her voice. She raised a hand as in a small "heh" and lowered it.
Once again, she had hold of the pen and was writing in quick strokes. nd you are right, it is quite strange, but not nearly as strange after you hear my offer. You see, your reputation has began to spread around Fiore, and as a mage dealing with sound, I feel that it is a crime for a person to be unable to speak or sing. I come to offer you the ability to speak again...persay. It won't be you directly speaking but a magical item of my making that would allow you to verbalize your thoughts just as I verbalized your written words." She ignored him, busy writing.
"As nice as that /sounds/. I refuse your offer." She placed the pen down and moved the paper closer towards him. Taking the paper off the pad, she placed it down in front of him and continued to write. "I am happy with the fact that I don't need to speak. If I were to speak, things that aren't able to be explained will happen and that's not what this world needs. I already have a feeling that there is just something about you that I don't like. Give me reasons that are valid." She passed that piece after and leaned back. That was when...
"Who do you think you are just walking up and trying to make deals with my partner?! She doesn't need some magic item to speak she has her paper and pen and that has been suiting her just fine! She also has me to get the point across and the point is for you to scram cause you're bothering her and her meal!” The bunny had a point. Eucliwood's stomach rumbled to back up his rather abrupt announcement.
”Why don't you just scram? Stupid offers like that shouldn't even be heard.” Eucliwood wasn't entirely sure on this statement, but she decided to let the rabbit speak onward. She was rather amazed the guy was able to form her voice from the ink. "You don't need some stupid magical item when you have me.” Without even realizing, having been so focused on the male; she hadn't realized her partner was looking up at her with some hope. Looking down at him, her metallic blue eyes narrowed a little before she shook her head, giving him a soft reassuring squeeze.

Artemis did the same trick as before and rose an eyebrow when she said she was happy not being able to speak and how bad things would happen if she spoke. When he heard her stomach growl to make a point about her inability to speak being a pain he snapped his fingers dramatically and told the waiter that looked his way to get her more of whatever she ordered and to put it on his tab.
"Are you truly happy being so easily ignored, having to have a stuffed toy speak on your behalf or write it on a pad and paper? What if someone is about to be hit by a magical bus, they would surely die before you could even get your pen out. In addition, unless the curse that you speak of, as it does sound like a curse, is tied to you airing your opinions, my magic will not trigger it. Much like the paper and pen, or your little stuffed friend here, it acts only as a medium. And if the curse was so vaguely defined, you writing out your ideas would have triggered it as well."
Artemis made a lot of inferences off of their actions as he spoke. He assumed she did not like all that the doll said or else the mouth would not have been sewn shut. Either she did it herself to shut the thing up, or someone else did it and then she would have removed it as soon as she noticed. Either way this meant that the doll was not a reliable means of communication and from how quickly the doll went to mouth off it was clear why.
Artemis then turned his attention to the stuffed animal.
"Have you ever considered she my want to talk my little plush friend? No, she doesn't need to but that is just like you don't need to be able to walk." It wasn't meant as a direct thread though it could easily be perceived as one. "Though I can see how if someone hasn't' spoken for years on end or ever possibly without some horrible event occurring, they may have forgotten how useful it is. I suggest you take my offer, try it out for a week, and I will find you again and then we can talk about if you want it or not. It wouldn't expect someone to want to pay for something like this without taking it for a test drive first."

White Rabbit looked to Eucliwood with hope, hope that she wouldn't take this man up on his offer and replace him with some stupid magical item which would allow her to vocalize what she wanted to say. For a second he began to believe that she was going to take the offer as she didn't look to him with any sense of re-assurance. It wasn't until she looked to him, shook her head and then gave him a squeeze that a small smile formed on, the usually angry, rabbit's lips. He seemed to cuddle back into Eucliwood much like a pet towards their master as he nuzzled his head into her stomach before the sound of the man speaking once again rang out to the sensitive ears of the stuffed animal.
He turned his head, this time the words from the male were directed towards him as he seemed to question what White Rabbit perceived what Eucliwood was all about as he believed that her not needing to talk meant she didn't want to really talk. This man seemed to think the opposite as he seemed to believe that she actually wanted to talk. He then made a rather rude threat about himself not needing to be able to walk which only made White Rabbit angry once again. He waited for the man to finish his statement on taking the item out for a test run for a week before actually returning payment for it. ”I know what's best for Eucliwood and she doesn't need to be making deals with idiots like you! Wanting to talk and needing too are two completely different things, yes. Yet she has made it through life without uttering words and I highly doubt she would need or want to now. Actions speak louder than words, human.”
[/b] His words were harsh at it seemed he had a rather large distrust for anything that he could recognize as a human. Unlike toys, much like himself, humans were cruel and evil beings that deserved every bit of pain and agony that they could be put through. It seemed that White Rabbit had a sort of racism between humans and toys even though he was one if not the only toy that has been observed as becoming sentient and it's own being. ”My offer for you to leave still stands... Why continue making an embarrassment of yourself and wasting her time? She just wants a nice and relaxing moment and idiotic humans like you always want to ruin nice moments like what she was having.”[/b][/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... Much like the paper and pen, or your little stuffed friend here, it acts only as a medium. And if the curse was so vaguely defined, you writing out your ideas would have triggered it as well."
Eucliwood let her gaze move down to the notepad as she listened to him. Her lips pursed together. This male was throwing obvious flaws. Was she happy? She blinked, her emotionless gaze revealing nothing. She tapped the pen against the paper and listened as Snuggles burst off in a bout of anger. "I know what's best for Eucliwood and she doesn't need to be making deals with idiots like you! Wanting to talk and needing too are two completely different things, yes. Yet she has made it through life without uttering words and I highly doubt she would need or want to now. She just wants a nice and relaxing moment and idiotic humans like you always want to ruin nice moments like what she was having.” Eucliwood pressed her hand to Snuggle's head. It was time to talk.
She instantly began to write on the paper. "As I train, my powers evolve and I get stronger. Soon I will be able to talk again and I don't need a device. If you're really that eager for me to use something, then fine. I won't use it but I'll help this product get more market value. If it's really made specifically for that. Also, alongside this; it's not a curse. It's a promise I made to somebody." She wasn't sure where that came from, but it felt true. She proceeded to write. "Snuggles is right. I am fine as I am. I'll leave it at that." She shoved the paper towards the male, blinking her eyes before watching as her food arrived.
Grabbing some food with a fork, she took a small bite and pressed a hand to her cheek.

Artemis smiled as a second idea formed in his head. Without realizing it, the small toy may have given him the advantage needed to get her to at least try the device or keep it on her person, which is all he really needed. The dolls tone also sparked an angry memory from his past. The way the doll spoke was like that of an abusive husband, who thought he knew better than his wife did. It was what his own father tried to pull before his mother put him firmly in his place.
"Currently, it looks like I am treating her better then you are. I give her options and open doors she never had access to. I ask you Miss Hellscythe, how do you know if talking would be more useful to you if you never tried it? Or did this doll lie on your behalf about your past history of speaking?" he then turned a hard scary gaze back to the bear, "Are you truly speaking on her best interests or what benefits you? You speak as if she is not even here and make decisions that are purely hers, admit it, you are scared that she will bump you to the curb if she gained the ability to speak."
To make his point the area of effect he conjured earlier flared to life, the ring of its border around the table flared as very soft singing could be heard as well as the music to the song. It was barely auditable so they could still hold a decent conversation. The next time Eucliwood went to write something on her pad and paper, she would find that instead it would come from her general vicinity in the same speaking pattern Artemis used earlier to represent his voice.
As the song progressed an intricate golden broach would begin to form in the center of the table but until it was formed, as long as she was within his realm of control anything she wanted to say, would be said. He worked hard on this spell so it would be able to differentiate intentional thought meant to be spoken and just passing thoughts or inner monologues. The broach was very delicate and made of real gold. The chain was spun finer than any craftsman could form without magic and appeared to be the lines of a musical score. It spun together at the pendent which was also gold and was inscribed with multiple music notes as well as a symbol similar to a speaker symbol used on computers with a rough profile of a person replacing the speaker icon.

A grin of sorts plastered itself across Snuggle's lips as he felt content with his answer and hoped that this idiot would take the hint that he was giving out and would leave the two of them alone. He didn't seem to really care about what Artemis said as he knew what was best for Eucliwood and making stupid deals or taking strange objects from some guy who just sat at her table was one of the few things that he believed she didn't need. In a way it also was to benefit himself as long as she didn't have a new object in her possession he could continue to be her number one item, at least in his eyes he was. He was about to scream at Artemis once again as he seemed to try to prey on his fears that Eucliwood would abandon him once again. His sharp jagged mouth opened but just before he began to shout obscenities, that would make any other mother cover their child's ears, he felt a hand on his head. The gentle motion seemed to calm the rabbit as his ears began to sag down slightly and it seemed to curl up slightly in Eucliwood's lap.
She merely watched, throbbing heart of an eye gently beating as she watched the man materialize the object that he had planned to hand over to Eucliwood. ”I don't like this one bit...” The doll's lips moved, a much more feminine voice ringing out as it seemed to lean back into Eucliwood as if hoping she wouldn't toss her aside for this new interesting item. ”I think you are too trusting... Eucliwood...”
[/b] She said, she seemed to be a bit more sane an in control of any sort of feelings even if she did sound a little bit apprehensive and depressed. ”Though... You know what is best... I guess...”[/b] She said, this side seemed to be much more bendable to Eucliwood's will and less likely to try to slap the broach away from Eucliwood. ”Just be careful... Please... I don't want to lose you again.”[/b] She said, nuzzling her head into Eucliwood's stomach from atop her clothing as it seemed this rabbit did care deeply for it's owner. "Especially to some stupid object..."[/b][/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... Eucliwood closed her eyes, she listened to what Artemis said and suddenly her eyes widened. He had countered Snuggles' comment and was now talking to her. She shuffled on the chair and pressed her hands to the table. Her lips moved and nothing was said. A soft whimper escaped her lips and she watched the item appear in front of her.
An arm reached over the table and she held it. She smirked. She was able to talk, it just hurt her so much so that it could even kill her if she wasn't careful. She began to write on the notepad, the little accessory held in her hand and she listened to Snuggles. "I don't like this one bit... I think you are too trusting... Eucliwood... Though... You know what is best... I guess... Just be careful... Please... I don't want to lose you again. Especially to some stupid object..."
She continued to write. "Something does not seem right. You come here and as if by magic you knew who I was and how I didn't speak. I recall you jumped to the assumption it was a curse. It's not a curse and I'm saying this now. It's the fact that I refuse to talk as it hurts me to." Shoving the paper towards him, her blue eyes snapped up to the male; they were emotionless.
Looking to the brooch, she held it in her hand and she swallowed a little. Her lips moved and she was going to get ready for the pain. Was it time to talk?

Artemis resisted the urge to smile smugly when he felt he finally put the stuffed toy in its place. He didn't like someone trying to beat him at his own game of manipulating people.
"In my trade, information is king. You cannot fill a need if you do not know where the need lies. And a mage of your caliber, you must not have expected all details of your life to remain secret. You touch people lives, and those you have touched do not stay silent. And an interesting conundrum with the pain, though I do feel like my charm will still work. It bypasses your mouth and just airs your thought. Just be very clear that you want something said and it will be said, I put safe guards so not every passing thought will be voiced to those around you."
Artemis did not lie in his statements but did not express the full truth though to tell this is nearly impossible. In his trade, information was indeed king, information was worth more than any muscle since intimidation could only work so far. He found that giving someone something they feel they cannot do without made people much easier to work with.
That and it wasn't the people she touched that informed him of her plight, it was his system of spies and informants that did it. He felt like this would be the leverage he would need to get a spy within Fairy Tail.
"And I hope the charm is of your liking. I can easily change it if it isn't, but I feel I have good taste in such matters."

Snuggles was quiet from that point forward, mismatched eyes merely staring forward towards the man on the opposite side of the table. She didn't trust anything that this man said or did but she could not force Eucliwood to bend to her will, despite what her male side believed. Call it a feeling from one essentially evil being towards another. Everything just didn't add up as one would never just come out of no where and give some one the ability to do something they normally couldn't do for free. The frown on her face only increased in size as she saw Eucliwood reach for the object as if it was some sort of key to freedom. Her mismatched eyes merely looking up to the female who's lap she sat on before he leaned back into her. She shifted, turning onto her stomach as she wrapped her arms around Eucliwood's stomach and seemed to shiver slightly.
Her ears perked slightly to Artemis's words, listening closely as he described how she touched people's lives and that word of her condition and details on her spread. That feeling continued to bug her constantly as he seemed to put out that idea that Eucliwood was known among people. It irritated how much this man bugged her but she only shivered once again as she latched onto Eucliwood like she was going to toss her away at any moment. ”Hate this guy...”
[/b] She said, squirming slightly as she moved up, her mismatched eyes looking up to Eucliwood as if hoping that she had the same uneasy feeling that she had for this man. Of course she didn't really know what this man had planned but call it the cautious sense of evil that was telling her that everything wasn't right. Though of course she was constantly cautious and paranoid of Eucliwood throwing her away and everyone in the world being out to get her so her word wasn't entirely sound in the long run.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
