Alright, I will be advertising this event in the cbox. I am putting it as closed because I don't want people to just "join". If you wish to join then let me know either through PM or catch me in the cbox. Once you do, I'll add the character(s) to the approved team members list. Approved Team Members: -Cecilia -Sora -Koryu -Eucliwood -Syana -Anundr Name: Insomnia Rank: C Posts Limit: 3 Objective: A local mage has been complaining of restless sleeping and when he actually does sleep, he wakes up feeling as if he did not get any sleep at all. Investigate this and see if you can help him. (Mission must be admin'ed by staff) Reward: 300 Exp: 40

Something was wrong, very wrong. Cecilia was on her day off when she got an emergency message from the Rune Knight Headquarters about a wizard that was now at large. A note had been delivered to her carrying the documents of everything the Government knew about him. "Artemis Enturi, huh?" she said while looking over the file. There was a picture of him, as well as his magic. She had never heard the name of his Lost Magic before, so she ignored it for the time being.
Since she got this information, she was told of the meeting site for any wizards who wished to partake in the capture of this man. It was a tavern located in Kunugi, a small village that would hopefully not have a lot of attention dragged to it. Cecilia had already donned her uniform and was on her way to the tavern when she noticed that the building already had people in it. Part of her orders was also to be a liaison with a group of wizards who did wish to take on the job.
She paused at the doors and took a deep breath trying to calm her nerves. This was a major situation that she had been tasked with finding a solution to. Of course she would be nervous. But this was something she had to control, otherwise the problem would not be solved. After taking another breath, she opened the door, letting the old door creak. As she walked into the crowd, no one had gotten quiet, rather they all just ignored the new person who walked in.
Cecilia kept walking forward until she got to the stage at the front that held space for a group of musicians to be at. That would be a good place to get everyone's attention. The young Rune Knight walked between the tables, ignoring the discussions that were going on until she reached the front. She made her way up the stairs and then turned to face all the wizards who had gathered. Her blue eyes scanned the crowd, wanting to see if they would quiet down for her, but they did not. All the gathered wizards were ignored her as they had something else to give their attention to.
"Excuse me! If I could get everyone's attention please!" she called out, trying to raise her voice to get over the audience and somehow grab their attention. Still, the crowd kept talking loudly as though they had not taken notice to the Rune Knight that had wandered in.

Sora was sitting at the bar of a tavern. Of course this entire floor was a bar, but the Dragon Slayer was sitting at the main bar. Next to him was his partner through the times, Koryu. The young wizard was hunched over the counter, gazing into the grain of the wood. Earlier that day, he had received news of a meeting in Kunugi that would discussing a special job. Sora had already gotten news of what was going on, and he knew that this entire meeting would be about this "incident". A new wizard had popped up, in name only. Nothing was known about him, and now the World Government was paying any wizard, or group of wizards to take down the target.
The Dragon Slayer had arrived at the tavern earlier than most, which is why he got the seat that he did. He was still working on the first drink he got, which was a large mug of water. One would suspect that he should be drinking some sort of ale, but Sora was not one who could handle the alcohol easily. Many a times it was his partner who had to control him, though the Dragon Slayer does not remember any of this. "It's too noisy," he grumbled, hoping that his partner could hear him. He did not like having to stay in noisy places, which is why he was starting to get annoyed.
There was nothing for him to do as he waited here. The news had said that a member of the World Government would show up in the tavern to give the details of this unknown wizard, which is mainly the reason he had for coming, though he did not think they knew very much about the target. It was around this time he saw sunlight come in through and open door, and with it, a young girl. Sora had to do a double take. One, for seeing that a young girl, maybe about his age had just walked in, and two, for seeing if the uniform was actually real. "Look,' he said to Koryu while he pointed at the girl,'that must be the Rune Knight that's supposed to run the meeting."
A smile went across his face as he watched the girl go through the crowd and eventually go up onto the stage. His eyes stayed on her while she tried to get the attention of the entire group, which was fruitless. Sora knew this. There was no way to get an entire group of wizards to pay attention to a single person that was not a guild master, or someone else of equal standing and power. Especially since no one knew the girl, no one would pay any attention to her. "Should we do anything to help?" he muttered to Koryu while he spun around on the chair and leaned his back against the counter so he could watch the rest of the room.

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... Within the darkest corners of the tavern, a cup of tea in front of her in a green clay mug with her name inscribed in it; Eucliwood took a small sip, legs crossed beneath the table as she listened to the area around her.
Her silver hair fell down over her back, completely unaware of the events that are about to unfold in front of her. Eucliwood's metallic blue eyes flashed towards a blonde haired girl who called everybody's attention. She saw a cat with wings. She wasn't going to question this but just carried on sipping her tea. Seems something big was unfolding; little did she knew that she was a part of it.
"Excuse me! If I could get everyone's attention please!" The mage's metallic blue eyes focused on the girl and she listened intently, awaiting what this girl had to say.

Anundr was heading towards the tavern that the mission he was taking was to be discussed. It was raining heavily, the streets were empty. Anundr couldn't seamed to find where the tavern he was supposed to go to, his terrible sense of direction had failed him and yet he couldn't find anyone to ask for directions.
Water dripped down his hood. Anundr put his hands in hoodies pockets and continued his search for the tavern, when suddenly he saw someone who looked like they might also have been a wizard go in to a large wooden building. "looks enough like a tavern to me." He thought to himself and followed the wizard.
Anundr walked in to the tavern. He sighed with relief, this was the right building. Anundr looked around to see what kind of wizards were around. He saw a blonde girl on the stage. "Must be the entertainment. Not the best entertainer I've seen around though. Kinda boring acctually." he thought.
Anundr continued to look around the tavern and there he saw a small silver haired girl. "Ughh. Not her again, well, whatever." He mumbled and continued on. he spotted something of interest. a Cat with wings and his pet. Anundr was fascinated by the cat and walked over to the bar. Anundr pushed off the person sitting on the stool next to this cat and greeted the two of them.

[atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=width,480,bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,100][atrb=vAlign,top] ASHES, ASHES There were very few things that Koryu hated more than a large crowd of noisy people. Incidentally, one of them happened to be a large crowd of noisy people who couldn’t help but notice and point at the flying cat as though he were some curious attraction. The cat sat in the air next to his partner, Sora, his white and grey wings outstretched and his arms crossed as the mage floated just above the wooden counter of the main bar in the tavern. While his partner appeared more interested in the surface of the counter, Koryu stared out into the crowd with narrowed eyes, a displeased frown on his face as he watched the mage’s walk and talk among each other. Needless to say the feline wanted to be anywhere but there, and he let out a heavy sigh as a pair of mages walked by the bar, the man whispering something to his companion and bluntly motioning towards Koryu with a delighted smile on his face, as they both stared at the cat until they vanished into the crowd.
Unfortunately Koryu was there for a reason, and as much as he hated the prospect of staying in the tavern for even another moment, he wasn’t about to give up a potential job, let alone one of this magnitude. Word had reached the feline and his partner that a meeting was going to take place in the small town of Kunugi, at the tavern they were now in. Rumor was that some new mage had surfaced in Fiore, and somehow had earned the attention of the World Government, who was now looking to hire a group of mages to hunt the man down and take him out. And while Koryu was skeptical at working for the World Government, taking on a job for them did mean one thing. Jewels, and lots of it. That, and the feline was looking forward to meeting this mysterious mage and testing his skill against the stranger, for he had to be powerful if the World Government was considering him as such a serious threat. The thought of finally having a real challenge caused Koryu’s frown to disappear into a smirk. It was obvious the mage’s days were numbered now.
His thoughts were interrupted when he barely heard Sora next to him complain about the noise, a mindset the cat shared. Glancing over at the dragon slayer, Koryu laughed to himself when he saw the man sipping away at a mug of water. The feline fully understood why Sora stayed away from the more common beverage of ale, more so than most, but the detail did bring some particularly amusing memories to mind. The cat still remembered the one time he had been able to convince the dragon slayer to partake in a drinking contest with another Kitsune Lament mage. Koryu couldn’t remember whether that was the time his partner had blown out the wall in the guildhall or shattered the support beams and nearly caused the ceiling to cave in. Needless to say, alcohol wasn’t Sora’s strong point.
The cat was stopped from further recollection when he became aware of someone watching him, and turning his head Koryu spotted a little girl sitting in a darkened area of the tavern. She sat alone, and the shadows covered everything but her long silver hair and a pair of cold silvery-blue eyes, which had drifted from looking at the flying cat to glance at the opposite side of the room. There was something peculiar about the girl, and it wasn’t just the fact that she sat alone in a tavern without any parents or friends. Deciding to keep a wary eye on her, Koryu followed her gaze and saw that the girl was staring at an elevated wooden platform in the tavern, which would have usually housed dancers or a minstrel or some other form of entertainment for patrons.
Instead, standing at the edge and looking out into the crowd was a lone blonde haired girl. Next to him Sora pointed the girl out, and mentioned that she was likely the Rune Knight the World Government was supposed to send, to give the mages information about the mysterious mage. Koryu was more than a little skeptical now, he was in outright disbelief. Sure she had the right uniform on, but she seemed about as young as Sora was, and she also lacked that certain…authoritative presence most Rune Knights held. In fact, Koryu noticed that the Rune Knight was attempting to get the crowd’s attention, though the cat couldn’t hear what she said over the noisy mages, and that no one paid her any mind as they continued to talk. Then again, quiet, weak, and without authority…Koryu shrugged, it sure did sound like the World Government.
Moving so that he faced Sora, the cat laughed when the dragon slayer asked whether they should help or not. ”Here we are supposed to be hunting down a mage for the government, and their liaison can’t even get control of a crowd. Pathetic, and it justifies us doing their dirty work, but I say we at least have a little fun and let her handle this.” As things were it was doubtful the Rune Knight would be able to get even a single mage’s attention let alone an entire crowd, but Koryu was willing to deal with the noisy tavern for a bit longer if it meant watching her struggle. It just went to show being a Rune Knight meant nothing more than a fancy uniform and a loud mouth, although in this case their Rune Knight didn’t even have the latter.
The cry of a man behind him caused Koryu to whip around, just in time to see the patron previously sitting next to him tumble to the ground, attracting the attention of several of the surrounding mages, though they quickly returned to what they were doing. Another man climbed onto the barstool without a second glance at the one he had thrown down, and immediately greeted Koryu and Sora. The cat stared at the man in curiosity, unsure what to make of him, but at least he was more interesting than anything else in the tavern at the moment. The cat nodded his head towards the newcomer, turning back afterwards to watch the Rune Knight on the stage. With the government’s liaison here, it was all but a matter of time before they could begin the mission and leave the tavern. Although, with how things were currently going, it could be quite a long time before the Rune Knight actually got anywhere.

Unaware of the current events that was unfolding in front of the young princess, she made her way into the tavern; her rabbit-eared partner on her shoulder with the jewel on his forehead shining brightly as the light caught it.
Syana's eyes caught sight of some person standing up on an elevated piece of wood, speaking and people were crowding around. There was a lot of familiar bodies, all different shapes and sizes within the tavern and Syana couldn't help but blink.
How strange. What was going on? She was just going on her usual adventure; having decided waiting for her other half to return wasn't ideal and she'd eventually go so crazy that she would end up bursting into tears. Something that was so rare for her. "Look at all these people." Her rabbit friend spoke, his eyes trailing the area. Syana just nodded. "What do you think is happening, Mokona?" She moved her hands to her caramel-brown hair and traced her fingers through the locks.
It had only been a month since Syo left her for a journey that he was called on; she missed him dearly but the princess had no other choice but to wait for him. Luckily, she had Mokona by her side.
Moving through the ground, the light mage let out a soft and curious sigh. "What's going on...?" Her robes had bells on and she was a rather stand out; considering the fact most of the stuff she wore was actually made from the finest clothing; all royal.

Twine stretched, cloth moved and stuffing shifted as the rather small figure moved about beneath the tables of the tavern. The small white form moved with complete silence, the only sound uttered was the occasional giggle or very soft puff of air that it released as it stopped for mere seconds beneath each table to listen closely to everyone within the room. White Rabbit was having the time of his life as he moved, his ears perking with each word that was uttered by anyone in the room and when something interesting caught his ears he would quickly move over to the location and listen closely. His mismatched eyes slowly ran along the room, taking in the various mages who had either entered just recently or had been there long before himself and his traveling comrade had arrived. His eyes quickly focused on the bar as he noticed a cat with wings, his nearly weightless body carried him to beneath the bar as he weaved beneath the bar stools.
His clock shaped eye softly ticked as he listened in on each conversation as he listened for anything interesting that might be good to report to his comrade and current owner. He moved slowly, his ears picking up on something on the stage, his eyes gazing on the female there for only a brief moment before he continued on his trip. Before long he was beneath the bar where the previous occupant was quickly tossed from the stool and replaced with some one else. His eyes looked to the fool who seemed to didn't seem to react in anyway to his chair being stolen which earned a soft scoff from the stuffed animal. His gaze peered up to the group above him before he quickly ran down the line and swiftly darted into the darker end of the tavern. Why she had decided to sit over in the dark corner was beyond him.
This was more than likely the area where the more dangerous mages were sitting and enjoying their alcohol or various other liquids. Psh who needed to drink, eat or sleep. That was something that only weakling humans needed to do to survive. He weaved through the feet of people before happening upon the lone silver haired girl who sat at her own table drinking away at her tea. He quickly moved up to the side of her chair before he tapped her and began to make motions with his arms extended in the air as if silently requesting her to pick him up. Had his mouth not been sewn shut once again he probably would have been shouting all sorts of things at Eucliwood to get her to pick him up but he was learning to behave himself a little more. Even if he was still quite the evil little being who wanted nothing more than to torture every single human being in existence but that is a story for a different time. ”Mmm... Mmph...” He mumbled, an almost pleading look on his face as he sought refuge with his owner and partner in crime (at least in his eyes). She was probably the only one in the room that he didn't consider to be a colossal idiot.

OOC:
I told Lin part of this but to make it clear. This will not be an easy RP so feel free to leave now if you don't want to take part. Since this is a mystery RP, I will be very harsh to meta gaming and my word on what you know and don't know on here is law. I may end up PMing any of you at a time with strange questions about past RP's or past experiences to better determine what the outcome would be. I am not 100% sure at the moment but I may even end up using a random number generator at times if I can't decide on what option is best or if the option should be somewhat random. Also, do me a favor and in your next post, claim a color, if at a point I have 4-5 different people inspecting different things I will use colors to show what each person sees and only that person. Also, be clear with what you do, if you look at something I will give you a broad description in my post of what you see, if you look closely I will give you a very detailed description of what you see but you can only look closely at two things per post. Expect this to be like a MUD if anyone has played those in the past))
Pass since you didn't get to the person's place yet. Nothing bad will happen and the mission won't 'start' until you get to the NPC's house. Someone go bug me when you guys get there -drinks wine in corner of chatbox-
Wait....

No one is listening, she thought while taking a deep breath. Her blue eyes had dropped their view down to her feet which were clad in black knee high boots. Anyone looking at her would notice that she had become even more nervous than when she initially took the stage. Cecilia knew that her face was red, it was probably beyond the regular shade and could now be comparable to that of a rare ruby gem. A part of her wanted to run out of the building as fast as possible. However, that was not an available option for her. Not after she first made the choice to walk onto the stage before all the gathered wizards. She was not allowed to show any weaknesses, because then her actions would be carried over onto all the other Rune Knights on the continent.
After taking another deep breath, Cecilia found her nerve and spoke, this time raising her melodic voice,”Everyone, would you stop talking and listen!”
With this, the large crowd slowly began to quiet down as they turned all of their attention over to the girl clad in a white uniform that was standing on the main stage. Cecilia had finally gotten what she wanted. She put both of her hands on her hips, trying to take an authoritative position, or at least a respectable figure that could get everyone to listen.
”Anyone that is here that is not here for the Magic Council’s bounty should leave now, or those who have no interest in leaving, you should go too,” she announced, realizing that people were listening.
Though, at this statement, some of the wizards just began to laugh, as though she was a child that would never be able to control them. This just got her even more flustered. She had passed over the embarrassment stage and had started to get angry. All these wizards had knowingly taken the challenge of hunting down a strong wizard, and now when the representative of the party putting out the bounty was before them, she was being ignored and even taken as a joke. Of course this is the moment where she found a way to get only the strongest of the group to take the job.
”As general information, I, a Rune Knight, must be present and accompanying whatever wizard or wizards that choose to take on this mission. If none of you are interested now, please leave,” Cecilia commanded while pointing towards the door that she had come through only minutes ago.
Now, only those who were interested in working in a group, or were okay with a Rune Knight accompanying them would be remaining. Cecilia took another breath to steady her nerves. ”Thank you all for coming here, I’m Cecilia and I am a Rune Knight, it will be my pleasure to be working with you all.”

Sora took a deep breath as he watched the crowd. He was not very entertained, but then again, this was not supposed to be dinner and a show. He sighed when he listened to his partner who was satisfied with watching the young Rune Knight who was having trouble. While he turned his sight to watch the girl some more, a person came up and sat next to Koryu. The person gave them a greeting, which caused Sora to immediately turn over to face them. He could not tell that much about the person, but he gave a nod up, showing that he noticed the man. Without saying a word, Sora heard a girl's melodic voice ring through the air.
His amber eyes found that the girl was finally taking the initiative and was able to quiet the group. Even Sora smiled at her actions. "Koryu, is that enough amusement for you?" he asked trying to egg his partner on. He flashed his white elongated canines at the silver cat. Soon enough the girl said that she would be serving with whatever group that would take on the job. The Dragon Slayer began to laugh at the events. "So, is this an amusing enough event for you? I can also take it that you are still interested?" he snickered while leaning back onto the bar even more.
After the girl introduced herself, he muttered, "nice to meet you madam Rune Knight."

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Don't speak so lightly of death... "Everyone, would you stop talking and listen!” Nobody listened to her and all Eucliwood could do was silently pity her. The crowd proceeded chat among themselves and Eucliwood sipped at the tea in front of her. Closing her eyes, she let the tea sink on her tongue before looking towards the wall with curiosity.
The girl seemed to lose her nerve as she looked to the ground and Eucliwood had half the mind to use some form of power to gather their attention.
”Mmm... Mmph...” Her gaze moved down to the rabbit, she barely heard him through all the racket and picked him up, placing him on the table for a better view and pressing her hand to his head in a sort of "Well done" petting motion.
"Everyone, would you stop talking and listen!” Ah they finally stopped and were now paying heed to the girl, Eucliwood's eyes scanned the room and she noticed more people. A charcoal-grey cat who hung with a male, the male whom she had once dueled and a rather dressed up character, possibly from a high lineage at the very front.
"Anyone that is here that is not here for the Magic Council’s bounty should leave now, or those who have no interest in leaving, you should go too,”Eucliwood's eyes focused back on the girl, but laughter filled the air and Eucliwood lifted a hand. A Magic Council...? She wasn't precisely here for that, but wanted to listen on.
"As general information, I, a Rune Knight, must be present and accompanying whatever wizard or wizards that choose to take on this mission. If none of you are interested now, please leave,” Eucliwood raised an eyebrow, the girl gestured towards the door and people left; grumbling.
That was easier than she probably had even anticipated. "Thank you all for coming here, I’m Cecilia and I am a Rune Knight, it will be my pleasure to be working with you all.”
Realizing only the people she had noticed were left, Eucliwood's eyes closed. Very well. Now she was going to stay for good. Her eyes finally noticed the white eared rabbit with the dressed up girl and couldn't help but force out a sigh.

Anundr began to take an interest in the girl that was speaking once he'd heard that she was the rune knight that was supposed to lead the mission. He paid close attention to what she was saying in hopes of gaining actual information on the mission.
Anundr wasn't totally sure what the mission was about, he never bothered to look at the paper thoroughly.
Anundr turned back to face to face the wizard who was with the flying cat. "You're also here for that mission aren't you?" . There were quite a lot of wizards taking on this mission, Anundr had never really taken on a mission with multiple teammates, the only mission he'd gone on before with other wizards was the assassination mission of when he met the silver haired girl.
"Hmm... This ought to be interesting." Anundr thought and grinned.
