Name: Dimensional Trap Arc Part 3 - Supplies [Compulsory] Rank: A Posts Limit: 8 Objective: With the threat of demon raids now small having defeated the main group that attacked, traveling about should now be easier. Without supplies such as food, water and heat, it may be difficult to live in such conditions. The dangers of demons lurking in the shadows is high. A human is their tastiest meal of all. A cuisine. Top notch ingredient. Objective: Survive. Gather supplies. Reward: 1200 Jewels Exp: 120 Exp Forget problems trying to recover magic in this dimension. There was a much more pressing matter... "I'm starved~!" Battler cried this out a couple of days after their battle against the mass of demons that tried to beat them. A man can't fight on an empty stomach, so it was a good thing that demons were leaving them alone for the meantime. But their supply of food that they had been living on was now scarce. All they had been eating was strange looking and tasting food that they saw demons eating, but even those fruits were becoming scarce within the area of their house. And so now they had to leave their home temporarily in order to find food. On another note, the three had gotten use to sleeping at the same time like it normally should be. They slept in the same room for reassurance that they were all there, though Battler was sleeping on the floor (by his own choice). Now the trio were traveling to Kunugi in order to find supplies. Preferably food and water.
"There haven't been many hostile encounters but still... I'm exhausted just walking!" Battler's attitude had flipped recently. He had left behind his masks and was now acting what he considered to be himself. He spoke his mind more and wasn't actually as perverted as you would think. In fact, even after accidentally walking in on the girls changing, he simply said he wasn't interested in their bodies and continued to grab something he had left in the room. With all of his playing around back in Earthland, you would expect him to say a dirty joke or something upon walking into that situation. Some other things was that he was quite quick to flare up, and complained a lot about things. Such as when he couldn't break his strange fruit in half, he got mad and threw it across the room, only to have it bounce back and hit him in the face, causing him to rage at it in what would appear to be a comical manner from anyone watching the scene.
"Yo, Fawn! Wanna ride on my shoulders?" A wide smile on his face meaning he wanted to pass the time by carrying the lightest girl. He would have told Riley that he would give her a ride if she were lighter, but even in his current personality he knew that would be a death sentence. Since he didn't completely exhaust his mana in their last major battle, he seemed to recover a lot quicker, though still slower than he should. It was like this land was deprived of magic. Either that or the three Earthlanders couldn't draw out the magic of a demon world compared to with Earthland. An incompatibility problem. Keeping an eye out, Battler made sure his senses were on alert while trying to keep a more casual and carefree, optimistic air to the group. He had a feeling that things were about to get harder as they entered a new area, similar to how they arrived in the Sleeping Forest and the demons were more aggressive and powerful. The Onibas area appeared to have more low level demons that posed little to no threat. Sort of like the higher the civilization area it is, the less aggressive and powerful they are. Unless there happened to be a faction of demons there. Mana: 75/75

Riley licked her lips softly as they walked, her green eyes carefully trailing across their surroundings - searching for any signs of attacking monsters, or even any sources of food. She could hear Battler complaining that he was hungry, and though she felt the same she made no comment on it, nor any pain or tiredness that she had felt during their stay in the demon world. This was simply the way that she had been conditioned in her youth, a habit that had never quite left her, and one of the few that she was happy enough to cling to.
In her mind, she distanced herself from her physical ailments, choosing to listen instead to Battler as he said that he was getting tired. "Seems we'll have to work on building your endurance," she commented, rather absently. The long wasn't really bothering her, though she was troubled that she no longer had her precious, signature jacket. It had been torn beyond repair in the last fight, and she felt rather naked without it, as childish as that perhaps sounded. Raising her hands, she rest them on the opposite upper arm, her fingers covering her guild mark slightly as she sighed a bit to herself.
Without her jacket, she simply wore her sleeveless black turtleneck, which she had stitched up several times since arriving in the demon filled version of Onibas. She began to wonder if clothing stores existed in this world, or if they would have gather the materials and try to make some on their own. While, she could repair rips and holes easily enough, she did not have the confidence to try to create a whole new wardrobe.
She could hear Battler offering Fawn a ride, and smiled a bit, sort of absently, simply glad to know that the two of them seemed to be getting along just fine. Raising her hands, she brought them to rest on the back of her head, lacing her fingers together as she remained like this for a few long moments, allowing her thoughts to drift - her smile fading in the process. In truth, she had begun to worry about the guild, and whether or not someone would dare to attack it in her absence. Riley felt terribly guilty about not being at the guild while they might potentially need her. Her hands fell, one rubbing absently at the side of her neck as she chewed at the inside of her mouth.
"When we get back, I think I'll secure the house and the area around it more so..." She commented, not only to voice her thoughts, but to distract herself from what was flowing through her mind, "I think I should be able to do it with my magma magic... Without expelling too much magical power, too, so..." Her voice trailed off, ending in a bit of a sigh as she gave up and returned to gazing at their surroundings.

It had been a couple of days, yet Fawn couldn't get it out of her head. The last thing she remembered was fighting David, that monster skeleton and those two wolf monsters, then suddenly, she woke up passed out after the battle. She originally thought that maybe Battler or Miss Riley saved her, however she knew that wasn't the case. She had terrible nightmares since then, barely getting any sleep, just kind of closing her eyes and trying to pretend she was alright.
She did however feel better after the fight, her body no longer felt like their was a weight of mana being drained from her, she actually felt stronger, and yet she felt disturbed. It was pretty normal that she'd have nightmares in such a place, she was only eleven after all.
She didn't even hear Battler speak, she was lost in thought. She looked at her hand, she was almost sure that she was getting more pale, which again, she wasn't sure if that was just natural living in a hellish place with almost no food, or if it was something else. She sighed, "I failed Master Shinji, He trusted me with the guild and now I've failed him." She looked at the disgusting sky, the horrific sky that she could always see, even when her eyes were closed, the constant reminder that she had truly been snatched away from home.
She then felt something in her body, just a lightness, her eyes rolled back a little and in an instant she fell to the ground unconscious.

Battler kept walking along, hands in his pockets casually. His shirt was untucked this time around, and tie was loosely on. His entire feel had changed from a formal tidy and clean person to a ragged and lazy person who lacks appeal in their attire. He could care less. His clothes were quite damaged already, and some stains on them such as blood since he couldn't wash it out. The creamy white blazer had turned somewhat maroon from washing it in the river. He was seriously hoping he could find some new clothes soon. There were no tailor shops here as far as he knew. Listening to Riley propose what to do when they get back, he didn't say anything for lack of opinion, just staring up at the sky instead. Looking at Fawn next to see how she was doing, he noticed a bit too late to catch her as she collapsed. Running to check on her, he loosened her clothing a bit to get some air in. It may or may not help, but always worth a try. Since her eyes had closed (supposedly), Battler had no real way to check her condition. Placing his ear to Fawn's mouth, he kept his eyes on her chest. Feeling her breath and seeing her chest rise and fall was proof enough she was breathing properly and had circulation. But why did she pass out? Feeling her forehead, it seemed an alright temperature. "I don't know what happened, but I'll carry her for now. We need to find those supplies."Summoning his Celestial Spirit Kishi, he let him get a feel for the area (and the smell) before picking up Fawn and carrying her. They had to keep moving. No chance to stop. He may have complained that he was tired, but he would carry on nonetheless. It was all a matter of the mind. As long as you think you are alright, you will be. As long as your senses don't say otherwise. After a dozen or so minutes, Kishi's ears perked up as he looked around. The Kunugi area was in sight, but so was about a dozen or so demons that were rather... dangerous looking. They were obviously human, but they seemed sort of possessed. They were working on crops and the like but their eyes were glowing red. Never a good sign. They had quite a bit of power in them too. Riley closed her eyes for a few moments, contemplating their situation and the people that they had left behind in their own world, leading her to give a bit of a ragged sigh (albeit a quiet one, as she didn't want the other two to hear her distress). She brought her hands to rest on her hips, unaware that Fawn had fallen until Battler had spoken to her, causing her to glancing back curiously, and then double-take as she realized that Fawn was unconscious for some reason or another.
She too moved to the girl, though Battler assured her that she was alright, and simply picked her up. Riley frowned a bit, now walking close to both of them as she ran her fingers through her hair, taking care to pay extra attention to their surroundings.
Of course, there just had to be demons in Kunugi, though the fact that they were tending crops was good news, since it meant food, the demons themselves were quite undesirable. With a bit of a 'tch' sound, that she was rather fond of making since entering the demonic world, her usual weapon formed in the palm of her hand - the Blood Soul. With this, she began to stalk ahead of Battler, obviously wanting to put herself between them and the demons, though she did not yet hold the weapon threateningly, rather, she gripped it loosely, hoping the demons would simply scatter at the sight of her.
[Remaining Mana: 92/100]
Spell Name: Blood Soul Type: Sin Eater Level: Intermediate Range: Self: Grasp Description: Blood Soul is the collective sins of the Aquila bloodline, formed into a single weapon, which contains the many souls murdered unjustly by those in her blood line. The weapon speaks to her, whispering words into her mind, cursing her existence and asking why she is alive when they are not. When used on an opponent, the Blood Soul creates a wound that cannot be healed properly without healing magic, leaving nasty looking purplish-black 'scars' that swell, cause pain, and inhibit healing. The weapon is made of pure darkness, it is about as tall as she is, in the vague shape of a staff. It is a purple-blackish color, with a terribly dark aura that makes it look as those it does not have a solid form. When summoned, the air seems to thicken with tension and a terribly, foreboding feeling. Drawback: The weapon itself actually tries to 'eat' Riley. It's darkness spreads up her arm, devouring her body. The longer she uses it, the more it consumes her. If her concentration is broken, or something 'breaks' her mind, causing her will to crumble, Blood Soul will immediately consume her. Her body will be taken over by the lost souls, driven by vengeance and hungry for blood. She will thus only be returned to normal if killed, if the weapon is pried from her hands, if she runs out of magic, or if she is unable to use magic/unconscious. It can only be used once per thread.
