As Syana thought, she heard the sound of a boat as it left the port and she ran to the railing and leaned over just to watch the boat reverse and ride backward just to slowly rotate and move forward, Syana waited until it disappeared from view and headed onward before smiling. "How long would it take by boat?" she asked, gazing onward with her green eyes filled with curiosity. Feeling the breeze run through her body, she pressed her hand to her hair as she felt the embrace of the wind cuddle her body before passing onward.
"Let's catch a boat, what are boats like?" She added, turning to face him and blinked her green eyes, curiosity filling them to the brim before smiling and leaning back against the bars. Mokona blinked his wide eyes, gazing onward towards the sea before back to Syana. "Boat?" He asked, his gaze shifting directly towards the water and he gulped.
"Not scary, is it... Maddox?" she asked, blinking her green eyes and looking towards Maddox once more and smiled.

Maddox followed Syana, keeping a few feet behind her as he watched her excitement over watching the boat depart. It was a bit amusing, but mostly he found himself becoming endeared by her behavior. "Hmm. I believe it would take about a day, as long as the weather remains as clear as it is right now," he answered, shifting his hands into the pockets of his large, red jacket as he did so.
As she made her decision, he gave a bit of a nod, content to take either means of transportation as long as he was with Syana. "They are very different from trains and such. Hmm, how should I put it..." He murmured, staring after the boat for a moment as he did so, "well, it is a very different experience. You can either go inside, to one of the cabins to rest, or perhaps to a restaurant, or you can even just stay on deck and enjoy the sun and fresh air. Sometimes you get to see things such as dolphins or whales, as well," he added, glancing to the nervous looking rabbit.
He chuckled a bit at the question, shaking his head, "when the water is calm like this, it is not scary. You might feel the boat rock gently from time to time, but nothing scary should happen," Maddox tried to reassure them, "and do not fret. You are traveling with a water mage. I will be right at home on the sea, my magic will be empowered by the water, so I will be able to protect you in the unlikely event that something does happen."

Syana looked towards the sea, feeling the cool breeze brush against her cheeks before closing her eyes and smiling; nodding. "Yes, why don't you use the bubbles as a transport?" She imagined it, giggling before taking his hand and pulling him with her. "Let's go!" She shrilled softly, her hair flaying softly as she eagerly headed towards the docks.
When they arrived, her eyes widened at the size of the large boats in the water, smaller ones around and in jetty's attached to bollards which moor the ships to the docks. The sound of water sploshing and popping against the side of the boat, causing it to rise and fall against the waves.
Syana's green eyes widened even more as she saw ships depart and create foam trails, gliding elegantly over and smoothly over the sea. She gritted her teeth slightly, a pain in her belly that clearly stated she was nervous. As she took steps forward, she inhaled the harbor smell and the metallic feeling and scent filled her senses to the brim. "Maddox, which boat is it we get on? Do we have to pay?" She asked, looking towards Maddox.
Mokona stared onward as the ship disappeared in the distance, trembling. "I don't know about this..." He said awkwardly.

Maddox blinked a bit as she asked him why he didn't use his bubbles as a means of transport. He didn't want to openly admit it, but it wasn't the manliest of magics, so he often didn't use it simply because he did not wish for others to know about it, or make fun of him. Even in battle, he preferred his weapons to his magic.
"It would be too taxing on my magic," he decided to say, which was the truth as well, he opened his mouth to speak once more, but was interrupted as he was dragged off. He found it a bit humorous, that he could physically push around men twice his size in battle - and yet this girl a fraction of his own size dragged him around like he was a ragdoll. He supposed it was because he allowed it, though.
He noticed that she seemed to be a little anxious, and rose a muscular arm, resting it along her shoulders as he scanned the harbor as well. There were a number of boats, though some were fishing vessels and the like, he soon picked out a large boat that was coming to the dock, "this is a passenger boat, and we must pay, yes, but do not worry, I will pay for us both since this is my doing," he pet her head gently, guiding her towards the dock, his own baggage still on his back.
His green eye soon flickered to Mokona, "these ships are safe, Mokona," he assured, speaking the rabbit's name for once, "they are built to withstand storms and other such things. There are many mages working on the ship as well, primarily water and metal attributed mages, who can mend the hull or force out any water the ship might take on if anything were to happen," he said, while making a note that he was talking much more than he was used to, he rose a hand to rub at his throat a little.
"I will not let anything happen to either of you, so enjoy yourselves and leave the worrying to me, alright?" As he said this, he led Syana up the dock, keeping her close as people flooded off of the boat, he approached a man standing guard near the makeshift staircase that allowed people to enter and leave the ship. The two exchanged words, Maddox handed off some money, and then he turned to Syana, gesturing for her to get on the boat (as he did not wish to force her if she was not yet ready to get on board).

"The sea is very pretty." Syana said softly, her gaze facing away into the sea before eventually followed Maddox towards as he paid and guided her onto the boat. Her green eyes widened at the beauty of the ship. As she moved to the side and gazed at the water. "I wonder if there are dolphins or sharks." She crossed her arms, pressing her chin to her arms and looked down at the sea while smiling.
Mokona clung slightly to Syana's shirt and smiled, closing his eyes and twitching his ears. "You're right, it's very pretty, but I still don't trust it." He cuddled up close to Syana, just to grip on tight as she turned around to face Maddox.
"Maddox!" Syana said softly, blinking. "What exactly do you do on boats? I want to know, do you just watch or what?" She cocked her head to the side. "How long is the journey" Admittedly she was incredibly excited about this brand new journey she had been introduced to, as the cool wind blew against her dress and sent it to flail softly in the breeze, a smile lingered over her face and she just hugged Mokona even tighter.

"There are whales, as well. Who knows what we might see out here," Maddox replied, having followed closely after Syana. He resisted the urge to smirk at Mokona's discomfort, choosing instead to simply look down upon the girl as she asked him the question, "well, there are places to drink alcohol, gamble, play games, as well as a room for us to sleep in. This ship is a fairly large one, and one of the more expensive ones, so there are lots of things to do. There is an all day buffet somewhere inside the ship, where they carve animals and baskets and such from fruit," he recalled, stroking his chin as she asked him how long the journey was. "It's not an overly long journey. A day, at most, I'd say," he mused, his long, dark hair blowing about a little in the wind as he did so. "Ah, I would like to go to the room to drop off my belongings," he pointed out, as he still had everything over his shoulders, "you can stay here or come with me, whatever the case, I wont be gone for long," he assured, petting her head lightly as he began to move to enter the ship, casting a glance to see what she had decided to do.
(Hmm, wanna spice things up a bit and have Riley appear for a while?
Or, we could have pirates or something attack the boat while they're out at sea. xD
Or both. Or something else. Or just continue as is. xDDD)

Syana shifted her gaze towards the sea, listening to people talk before nodding. "I'd love to see Wales, they sound so beautiful." She closed her eyes, pressing her hand to her hair as the wind brushed through her hair.
"Wont the rooms get full? There are so many people." She pressed a finger to her lips, feeling the boat suddenly jolt and cause her to grip the bars a little. "We're moving?" She looked towards Mokona, realizing he was gone. When had he left? As she looked side to side, she instantly realized. Mokona must of went to the buffet. Looking down to her stomach, Syana massaged it as gurgling sounds emitted from it. She was more or less nervous, even with Maddox's encouraging words.
Syana watched the foam form at the bottom of the boat, listening to the waves rustle against the base of the boat. "It gets windy out at sea, really strange. There are no trees to carry the wind." She leaned over the railings, gazing onward with a blank expression on her face. Closing her eyes, she nuzzled softly into her hand before smiling.
As she glanced towards the sky, watching the clouds move before laughing softly. "If you're hungry, we can get some food. It's not all about me you know." She laughed softly, turning to face him.
((Sounds good, I think both ideas are good The roleplay contradicts the topic, don't you think? ))

"Well, I assume they all have rooms, this ship is fairly large, so I imagine it has adequate lodgings," he assured her, setting his things on the floor and leaning his hip against the railing, not seeming to be even slightly off balanced as the ship was set into motion. "Mmhm, seems we are ready to set sail," he answered, watching her carefully, so that he could catch her if she was going to fall down or anything of that nature.
"The wind does not need trees to carry it. It rolls along the surface of the water, which can either cool the wind down or warm it up," he rather absently commented, his green eye dancing a bit, before staring out over the ocean. It flicked quickly back to Syana as she spoke to him, "I am not hungry yet, we can do what you please for th-" His words were cut short as he was suddenly glomped by a young woman, sending him flat on his back. As this happened, a barn owl fluttered to rest on the railing alongside Syana, seeming a bit annoyed, likely because it was up and about before dark.
On closer inspection, the girl that had tackled Maddox suddenly looked very much like him, in fact she was the same girl from the mission in Adonis, though she looked older, three years older, to be precise.
"Brother!" She chimed, chuckling as she got to her feet and dusted herself off. She seemed a bit mischievous, as she then looked to Syana, offering her a wide smile, "hello again, Miss Syana, you're looking very cute again today," she said, her blue jacket billowing a bit in the wind.
Maddox blinked a bit stupidly, slowly getting to his feet, observed his sister closely for a moment, noticing that she looked different than she usually did. However, her personality seemed about the same, so he simply sighed, "hello, little sister," he commented, then looked to the owl, whom was familiar as well.
Once he had adjusted himself and settled down, he stood beside Syana, looking to her as she was complimented. Of course, he always thought she was cute, but he began to wonder if he should perhaps try to tell her such things more often.
(Mmk! And yes. Yes it did. XD)

Syana couldn't help but smile while Maddox spoke to her, without him she would have to adapt the hard way to life and still not get a full understanding of it. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she heard a thump. Looking down towards him on the floor with somebody similar on him. She just blinked twice, trying to understand the full happening before realizing that it was Riley.
Hearing the sounds of wings, she turned to look beside her at the barn owl and remembered about what Maddox had said about owls resembling things to both of the siblings. Lowering her head politely to the female. "Hello Miss Riley." she said softly, before listening to her compliment her. "Thank you, but I wouldn't say I'm cute. You're very pretty, Miss Riley." She couldn't help but tilt her head and smile. "And hello to you, Mr Owl." She added, looking towards the owl.
"So, how come you're on the boat too? Something important happen?" She asked softly, tilting her head to the side with some confusion in her green eyes. A small smile peeked over her lips, pressing her fingers to them after. "Could it be you're going to technicolor village too? We can go together." She looked towards Maddox, wondering if it was okay before slowly shifting her gaze back towards Riley.

"Thank you," Riley chimed, smiling in delight, "though you are definitely very cute," she leaned back a bit on her feet, looking between Syana and Maddox with a bit of a smirk, which suggested she likely considered the two to be an item - or at least to have some sort of flourishing relationship. She would never ask or comment on it without being told, of course, but she was happy for her brother, if that was the case.
As Syana spoke to him, the owl chirped a bit, blinking slowly, a bit lethargically, before fluttering towards Maddox. It rest on his shoulder a moment, nipped his nose lightly with his beak, before flapping to rest on Riley's shoulder.
"Cheeky bird..." Maddox mumbled. It seemed that not many animal liked him, aside cats and his own owl. He hadn't seen the bird in a long time, but if Riley's returned to her then maybe his would as well...
"Now, now, Atlas," Riley chuckled a bit, ruffling the birds feathers slightly with two fingers. With this, she looked to Syana once more, "well, you could say that, I guess," she mused, bringing her hands to rest on her hips, "I'm here on guild business. At the moment I can't really say what that is, but be careful, okay?" She smiled to both of them.
"In the meantime, you can accompany us, if you like," he nodded a bit, to Syana, allowing himself to lean on the railing as he did so. At this point, Magnolia was barely visible and they were approaching open sea. Something caught his attention, and he pointed into the water.
"Syana, look. Dolphins," he said, leaning over the railing a bit and pointing to the family of dolphins some ways away, that were leaping out of the water and showing off.

Syana looked between the two, smiling. She could see they had a strong bond and it was very rare to see the two together. "It's nice to see you so happy, Miss Riley. You and Maddox have a strong bond" She looked around towards Atlas, watching the bird nip at Maddox before tilting her head and watching the bird shortly fly off towards Riley. "How is Griffin Wing?" She asked, shifting her gaze towards Riley. It seemed Riley had a good reason to be here and even Syana knew not to push onward. "All is well?"
Syana looked onward towards Magnolia, the nervousness in her stomach that was once there was gone and replaced with an excited bubbly feeling. Listening to seagulls sing, she looked up and her eyes widened, flocks of seagulls were flying through the sky with their wings all in sync. Suddenly, she heard a sort of musical sound. Looking around after Maddox pointed it out, she took hold of the railings and laughed softly. "Dolphins!" She listened to them click and call to each other as they dived into the water and resurfaced just to repeat the actions. "They're so cute, wouldn't you agree Miss Riley?" She shifted her gaze towards Riley, a small smile on her face and laughed softly.
"Dolphins remind me of you too... No matter how far apart you are, you'll always be close at heart. It's the same for dolphins, isn't it?" She looked towards Maddox, hoping her knowledge was even remotely correct. Looking back towards the sea, she crossed her arms and rested her chin against them while gazing onward. She could see another ship coming towards them in the distance, she could tell it was another travel boat as it seemed to look similar to that of this one. "How many boats come and go? Is it as soon as one boat leaves the dock another is on its way to port?"

Riley smiled back at Syana, "well, I have a lot of things to be happy about," she commented, raising a hand and fiddling with the engagement ring that was upon it. She blushed a bit for a moment, allowing her hand to fall to her side once more as she simply smiled, "Griffin Wing is doing great. It's as lively as ever," she chuckled a bit, as it was always a bit of controlled chaos, "how about you? How have you been?"
Her attention turned to the dolphins as well, as Syana was so excited over them. She moved to the railing, leaning on it a bit lazily and smiling still, "yes, they're very cute. They almost look like they're putting on a show for us," she pointed out, watching as they jumped and dove into the water, flipping and making a great deal of noise.
"I believe so," Maddox nodded. He did know that dolphins were capable of missing and mourning their kin, so it seemed highly possible, "they're very intelligent creatures after all," he mused, eyes trailing to the ship as well. "Hmm, hard to say how many boats come and go in these waters. There are passenger ships, cargo ships, fishing vessels... It is always a very busy place. Perhaps a hundred? Maybe even more?" He thoughtfully answered, staring down into the water as he did so.
Riley watched as another ship approached, seeming suspicious of it for a moment. Her green eyes narrowed a bit, but she seemed to dismiss it once she saw the name of the ship. Nevertheless, she up righted herself to glance around in all directions. Atlas, on her shoulder, shifted a bit, eyeing the seagulls up above, before peering down into the water, as though searching for a bite to eat. As he let out a sound, Riley put a hand into her jacket, pulling a small bag from her pocket, she fed him a piece of the whatever was inside of it, and he happily devoured it in a second before demanding more.

Syana caught sight of the engagement ring, pressing her fingers to it, listening to Maddox's analysis of the dolphins. "So they're like humans then?" She asked, closing her green eyes and smiling.
"Great, if it's not one thing - it's an owl" Mokona sighed, staring at them from a distance, his eyes daring to gaze towards the owl. Diving under a table, causing a small girl to scream just to walk onward after; Mokona studied them before skirting across the floor and diving onto Syana's back. "Owl!" He cried, hugging her back.
"Welcome back, Mokona." Syana laughed when she felt his body hit her back. Slowly moving her hands to him and supporting him before moving him to her chest. "I don't think he means any harm, you're too big to be eaten anyway." She held Mokona high for a few seconds before gesturing towards the dolphins. "Look, Mokona. Aren't they cute? They are, as Riley said, putting a show on for us." Syana added.
Mokona focused on the dolphins for a few seconds before nodding."Yes, cute. Sya! They have really nice food! Come, come!" He jumped onto the floor, rushing towards the doors that lead to the entrance of the room and stood there while waiting for Syana to head over. "I'm not hungry..." Syana stated before Mokona was too far away, but laughed a little either way. She watched Riley feed the owl, tilting her head. "What are you feeding him, Miss Riley. He seems to like it." She took hold of Maddox's hand, almost instinctively as she turned to face Riley.

"Mmhm, they are more like us than most animals," Maddox confirmed, watching the creatures intently as they practically followed alongside the boat. He glanced to one side as he heard someone scream, but as he noted it was simply Mokona acting a little shady, he turned his gaze back to the water, inhaling the fresh air deeply as they passed the other ship. "It is very peaceful out here," he sighed, seeming content.
Riley watched the large, round rabbit as he attached himself to Syana, and since he was hesitant of her own pet, whom was eying him with interest (not as prey, so much as the fact that he was doing a lot of movements that grabbed the bird's attention), "he's not interested in eating you. He prefers small rodents, and Syana's correct, you're bigger than he is," she pointed out, turning her gaze back to the owl, whom had again taken more interest in the food than anything else.
"Well, essentially they're owl treats. Kind of hard to come by, but he loves them and it's much better for him than just feeding him whatever I eat," she offered the bag towards Syana, smirking a bit as she noticed that she was holding one of Maddox's hands, "would you like to feed him one, he doesn't like my brother, but besides that he likes getting attention," she assured, chuckling a bit.
"He's just jealous that my owl is bigger than he is," Maddox murmured, accepting Syana's hand and smiling just a bit, as he spotted his sister grinning at him he blushed slightly, diverting his gaze as he gently squeezed Syana's hand.

Syana looked towards Riley and then Maddox when he squeezed her hand softly. She couldn't help but feel more assured and moved her hand slowly towards the treats, her green eyes focused intently on trying to make a good impression for Atlas. "I don't think he'd jealous that you have a bigger owl, Maddox. You and Mokona haven't exactly got a close relationship and I'm sure you don't have a talking rabbit either..." She put her hand into the bag of treats, taking one out.
"Miss Riley, how do I hold it?" She asked, she tried to remember how Riley had fed her owl and instead of remembering, she just held her palm out towards the owl with the food in the center of her palm. "Here we go, owl ~ Some yummy food for you." She laughed softly, smiling and squeezing Maddox's hand a little with her other hand.
The sound of the dolphins caught her attention, as she shifted her gaze towards the sea she noticed the dolphins were jumping at the side of the boat. Looking up, she noticed many more ships had appeared. Some were like the ones she was on, others were longer with boxes over the back. As she looked over the other side, she could barely see Magnolia anymore and could feel the sea had gotten a little more rougher due to the fact they were actually out on the ocean instead of the docks. Looking back towards the other boats, she looked between Riley and Maddox. "More boats have appeared..." She trailed off when her stomach rumbled, just to make her blush and laugh. "Now that I think about it, maybe I'm a little hungry... Why don't we go indoors and eat?"
