Kitsune Lament
Purpose: The meaning of the guild is a place for all kinds of people to seek repentance or seek out their goals. They accept all people, escapees, dark mages, psyco people, depressed people, perverted people, people of all kinds are accepted here. Everyone has the freedom around this guild. If they wanted to kill someone for some good reason, that would happen, if someone threatened the well being of the guild they would be taken out. But that's what makes the world government classifies them as an untrustworthy guild as well as the fact they take in escapees and ex criminals no matter how serious the crime, but according to most of the other light guilds, they are friendly and kind due to the missions and morals they have and the respect for other guilds so they treat them with respect, but will not invite them to guild master meets due to the possibility of what might happen. Because the government doesn't like them and they are truly not light guild that had become an independent guild.
Location: Harujion
Leave: Every guild member must have the guild tattoo removed or placed over their heart showing that they cherish the time they had with the guild.
Tattoo: Look at the banner. The tattoo also has a habit of moving some times depending on the persons mood. If the person is hostile the tattoo will look hostile, if scared the tattoo will have it's tails between it's legs. The number of tails of the tattoo marks the generation, currently there is nine tails.
History: The guilds history is a rather long going through 9 generations, so to shorten everything up I'll just be talking about a few of the generations.
The first guild master was a young lady named Sakura Tomomi. In her time she was known as one of the fairest ladies in Fiore, which was a great honour. However if she was believed to be a kitsune seductress she would have been given away by the time she was 14 which at that time would have been completely legal. The reason why Sakura was accused of being a kitsune was because of the fact she lived with them all her life, while they were in their human form. Actually she was raised by them, an adopted child more or less.
Due to her nice body she had manage to seduce men without knowing it she also received the title of the Fox Lantern. She also received the title because wherever she went the foxes followed her and often bad luck to anyone she met. However through her travels she managed to get a group of people together in Harujion, when it was first being built, and started to help the people in the city. By this time she had been dubbed the queen of the Kitsune and as well as the Fox Lantern that many people feared.
When Harujion was being made there was many problems, the main being the fact that there was a nest of Nue which where very powerful demons that nested on land, while the Nure-onna nested in the shores. Followed by many other nests for japanese demons. When Sakura appeared on the scene she had officially crossed the line that demons don't dare do, which was invade another's territory. This had sparked a war inside of the city that history has dubbed “The War of Change” which had sparked more wars around Fiore with demons fighting each other and humans fighting each other.
During the was she had her kitsune forge a blade for the soul purpose of slaying anything that opposed her. The weapon had all of a kitsune's powers built into it, containing dead kitsune souls. As well as now wielding the kitsune blade she had learned the magic of the kitsune and used them to an even larger extent then the oldest kitsune alive. During the war most if not all the kitsune died in this war. However this still lead to the bloody victor of the humans. Out of the saddness that she endured she officially made the group of 10 a guild named Kitsune Lament.
Over time the guild grew bigger and bigger and slowly evolved to a group of 100 that helped build up Harujion and protect the village from demons and other terrors. But like any other person Sakura was growing old so she had to appoint a new leader to keep it going. Seeing as she was believed to have no known children she appointed the youngest member, teaching him how to use the kitsune magic.
The next few generations where dark ones especially when she chose a corrupted power hungry predecessor. The next few generations made them targets for any law around them and drove their HQ to go out of their home town. After the 6th generation the guild was nearly wiped off the face of the planet due to all the evil acts they committed, the world government did a full scale invasion killing almost all the members of Kitsune Lament.
One member managed to survive however and revive the guild and redeem their former glory. He recruited more new members for the guild. At the time the nure-onna's had returned and started terrorizing the city. This newly revived guild had destroyed all threats to the city and had redeemed their glory as a light guild, but was still highly hated by the world government, so they were denied the right to be a light guild, and became an independent guild.
As time went on the guild slowly got bigger and became more hated by the government and loved by the people. The next most noted guild master is the current one. He had took over after his master and mother retired. He himself was a kind man, always loud and overly friendly. Even though he was a monk he still sinned. This man was Takeo Hiroshi. He had given the guild an even better rep then any other and an even higher bad rep with the people he accepted into the guild.
Unlike the other generations he accepted everyone and anyone who was alone, suffering or even repenting for what they have done in the past. This man is known as the saviour. He also took in homeless children of all kinds, no matter where the came from. In his youth he was known as True Cross, due to his magic to create crosses with special attributes. Over his reign he had defeated some of the worst criminals of his time and not to mention some of the strongest light mages who had threatened his guild.
However he held a secret. He was and still is deadly sick with the deadly crow virus, making him completely weak, and unable to use a lot of magic without coughing up blood. Because he is weak and old he is now looking for a new replacement in his moments of his life. As well as his best friend and right had man, are also looking for a replacement. However after the replacement is found the two will retire and go into isolation. Is it time to lead the kitsunes into the depths of hell or is it time to crawl their way up from the rocky bitterness of hell's gates up to heavens gates?
