[atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true] Be Obscure Clearly! Tagged - Words 230 In Character Going after a fight isn’t his thing. But, it’s been forever since he had had a real challenge. After Darui, he hadn’t been pushed beyond his limits anywhere. Though, he wouldn’t be bothered by it under normal circumstances, right now, he is worried that he had gotten rusty and would fail pathetically even in a D-Rank mission. He had recently returned from his long journey and joined Fairy Tail. Plus, he is one of the Wizard Saints now. Almost everyone's eyes are on him. If not extraordinary, he at least wanted his first impression to be good. I hope this serves as a good practice, he muttered to himself as he stood at the Arena’s entrance and investigated his surroundings.
There seemed to be quite a number of people walking in and out of it. Haru could easily tell that most of them were spectators. At least there won’t be a lack of cheering. Walking in, he approached the organizer and introduced himself. Hatsuharu Akimoto from Fairy Tail. He would wait for him to respond and then request his competitor. I hear Mr. Teale Zoë Salvage is the best one you have got. I’d like to have a duel with him if he is available and willing.
If the duel is approved, Haru would walk up to the Arena and wait for Teale. Out Of Character A sooper active mod please~ Because I'm free all day.

"Her," came a voice, echoing from the other side of the arena, "you would like to request a fight with MISS Teale Zoë Salvage. Tch." The female, wearing a frilly dress that came to her knees, made it quite obvious in her arrogance that she was not taking Hatsuharu seriously. She grinned a broad grin, taking on a bit of a fighting stance, as she shifted her feet apart.
"Here in the arena, we crush little fairies and turn their wings into magic dust~" She taunted, resting her hands on her hips for a moment as she let out a rather odd sounding laugh.
"Since you have insulted my femininely honor, I have no choice but to accept your challenge, stray fairy, and you will learn pretty quickly that even a beautiful young lady like myself has poisonous thorns," she blew him a kiss - which in itself was a trap, as a spell stemmed from it, looking much like a net as it approached her target. If it struck him, it would divide him into many small, doll like versions of him, and if he was too low of a level, he would likely find himself unable to continue. This was usually the case.
However... Would Akimoto be different? Would he be strong enough to continue fighting when reduced to a legion of doll like versions of himself?

[atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true] Be Obscure Clearly! Tagged - Words 361 In Character Before the organizer could answer his question, someone behind him interrupted. He turned towards the voice slowly and found a beautiful young female looking at him with mixed expressions. Annoyed? Excited? Conceited? Or all three? He couldn’t tell. He got one thing right though. This was the person whom he was going to fight. Apparently, he had got the gender wrong and she didn’t seem to be the forgiving type. Nevertheless, he apologized. I’m sorry Miss. Salvage. You see… I’m not very good at differentiating the gender with names.
For a second, he thought she accepted his apology for he saw a smile cross her face. But then, with closer look, he realized it wasn’t a smile. It was more like those grins he used to see on the thugs and outlaws he hunted. It was very familiar to him. She seemed to be over-confident and cocky just like them. But then, once he was done with them, half didn’t have enough teeth to grin confidently and the rest… Well… Weren’t conscious at all. He just hoped this fight doesn’t force him to go to such extents. It’s just meant to be a warm up after all.
As Teale took her fighting stance and ranted about her victories over other Fairy Tail participants, Haru stood there with his hands folded and kept constant eye contact with her while smiling in a condescending manner. All her statements only made him view her as an immature child and he was actually seeing it as cute. Even after she blows a kiss and send a net-like spell, he would simply smile at her acting like either the net doesn’t bother him or he hadn’t noticed it. He would just stand there and when the net is about half way between him and Teale, he would use his Mediocre Reflect spell and try to send the net back towards her. This would probably shock her and if it does, Haru would take advantage of it and get his next spell, the Mediocre Wind Slicer, ready to hit if at all she avoids her own. Out Of Character -

After she had blown her kiss, the female allowed her hands to fall loosely to her sides, where they dangled loosely. Though her feet were firmly planted on the ground, her mannerisms were largely relaxed, and she still did not seemed concerned with the other mage. Though he were no doubt a famous mage, she had no idea of this - being the sort of person that was far too caught up in herself to really care about the rest of the world.
It was fairly lucky for her, that she at least had sense enough to watch her opponent, as he had soon sent her spell right back at her. She threw herself to the side, somewhat over dramatically, sending her rolling through the dirt and across the ground - her cheeks puffed out in annoyance.
The people in the crowd yelped in surprised as the net spell hit them, sending several members of the audience into multiple dolls, which promptly caused them the pass out.
"Ah, stop your whining," she bluntly commanded, crawling to her feet and glaring at Aki for a moment, before lowering her eyes to her clothing, "this is a new dress," she hissed, "You better-" She lifted her eyes in time to see the attack that was directed at her - though, it was two late for her to dodge, she guarded her torso by crossing her forearms in front of herself, reducing the damage to herself somewhat.
But not reducing the damage of her dress, which now had tattered sleeves.
"You..." Was all she could manage in her anger, before she swept out her arms, casting the same spell again - but on a much larger scale, as it was now more like a new wall than a single net being tossed forwards. As she did this, she panted softly.

[atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true] Be Obscure Clearly! Tagged - Words 438 Mana 28.5/60 In Character Haru flinched when Teale dodged the net and it hit the spectators. He really didn’t foresee that and he probably should have. Sorry! he mouthed at them before bending the air around his opponent. This time, she couldn’t dodge it completely. Her clothing was completely messed up and she didn’t seem too pleased. Haru couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw her search for words to express her anger. But, it looked like she decided to show it in action instead. She cast the same spell again with an even wider range. Of course, Haru cannot use his reflect immediately again and even if he could, he wouldn’t. After all, he had just seen the effect it has and there is just no way would he let the audience take it again.
The huge wall of grid was rapidly approaching him and he had to come up with something to save himself. He can handle cuts, bruises and even some broken bones. But, he simply can’t handle millions of miniature himself around. Sighing softly, he activated his Feeble Shadow Dome and once he was inside the cocoon like defence, he would transform into Liquid Shadow. If Teale’s attack was Mediocre level or higher, it would easily disintegrate his cocoon structure into small cubes. At least, that was what he wanted and it is the reason why he made his defence weak.
If it went according to his plan and his Shadow Dome was disintegrated, Haru would see if Teale seems confused as to where he had vanished to. If that’s the case, he would take the confusion to his advantage and move rapidly towards her in his liquid shadow form. He would pass under her and once he gets behind her, he would transform back to his normal self. Looking for me? he would whisper in her right ear from behind. As he does that, he will keep his left hand a few inches away from her upper back and get his Intermediate Dark Ball ready to be shot. Although the attack is one-tier weak, a rapid fire at such close range would be deadly.
He really doesn’t want to make this attack and so, he would give her a warning. It’s over sweetie! Please don’t try anything or I will be forced to blast you away, he would say in his most sincere voice. Also, he had cast quite a series of spells in a very short period. If this got any longer, it will mean trouble to him too. He just hoped this was over. Out Of Character -

Teale gave her usual arrogant, self absorbed grin, as she knew full well he would not be able to avoid her spell. He cast some pathetic low level spell, which her own spell easily split into pieces, as it usually did - to reveal that the young man was no where in sight.
"That's the first time that spell has made a person so small that they are invisible." She blinked dumbly for a few moments, but it turned into a look of triumph. She rose her fists into the sky, grinning broadly - but something was wrong. The crowd was not cheering, rather, they appeared to be waiting with bated breath. She had about to protest, saying he wasn't dead, when his voice caused her eyes to bolt wide open.
She turned her head slowly to him, her eyes still spread wide open. She easily spied the ball of magic in his hand, felt the pressure from it, and grit her teeth. "You're bluffing..." She callously murmured, fidgeting with uncertain. She huffed and puffed for a few moments before lowering her arms to her sides - acknowledging that she had been defeated.
"I submit." She finally said, her voice strained, as though it took a lot of effort to say such a thing.
