Name: Send This One to The Grave Rank: C Post Limit:: 3 Objective: Someone has stolen a highly expensive gem for the museum, find him, and retrieve the gem at any means necessary. Reward: 150 Exp:40
Durriken heard from the museum curator that a rare gem was stolen earlier in the day. Anyone in the guild could have taken such a mission but he felt that he should do it himself to spread good will as the new guild master. Riley leaving left the town feeling a bit uneasy because of the unknown of Durriken's leadership style. They knew he was a nice guy but they didn't know how he would act when he had actual power. In all honesty he was a bit nervous himself since what was a shield go for without a sword. He would need to come up with some strong offensive abilities and fast if he was to keep the guild safe. After going to the museum and seeing the robber and the gem on the video camera, he pulled a mirror out of his bag. If he were lucky, the man would still be within the city limits that mean he would get a nice look of exactly where he was. "Show me the gem within my mind's eye." He said thinking of the gem he just saw. The mirror clouded over and his eyes zoned out as he saw the man sitting in a local tavern, the gem in his bag. It was one of the shadier bars in the run down outskirts of town. He made a mental note to try and work to get those areas improved as he walked out the door putting the mirror back into his bag. Mana: 99/107 Mediocre Range: N/A Description: Through the use of a scrying mirror or crystal ball the mage is able to observe a person they have come in contact with before. If the person being viewed is in an area the viewer has not seen before they will only be able to observe the person's movement in a black void. If the person being viewed is in an area the mage is familiar with they will see the background around the person with any changes being fuzzy or hazy. Drawback: Require mirror or crystal ball. Can't perform other tasks while performing the spell.

Durriken exited and quickly climbed a fire escape and then vaulted onto the rooftops of Onibas before taking off at top speed across the town to the inn that he saw in his mirror. Anyone who would have looked up would have seen just a red blur. This fact is what earned him his title the Elemental Blur since he was unique in the sense that he could cast nearly every elemental of magic through his card and can faster than the eye can fully track when he is going full speed.
With ease learned in the circus and being honed in the field, he leapt from rooftop to rooftop tucking into each fall to cause he to roll forward safely dispersing his momentum before leaving the roll at the right time to jump back on his feet and continue running. After the first time he cut up his shirt and back doing so he had extra strength weaved into his vests so they could withstand the abrasion against him and he didn't need to reskin his back after every run.
When he got to the inn, he landed on the roof and entered through a window into the attic before making his way down the building and exiting through the staircase that would have lead to the rooms on the top floors. As he stood, his eyes scanned the crowd in the smoky and dingy room for the man with the gem.

When his eyes located the man who stole the gem he walked forward nonchalantly as the eyes in the smoky room followed him. He let the glares and gazes fall off his back letting his power radiate off him. He would not be intimidated such a place and it showed in his stance. He walked up behind the man who was laughing and drinking while playing poker and tapped him on the shoulder.
"What do you want..." the man said angrily until he saw it was Durriken and his face paled.
Durriken sighed and held out his hand. "Hand it over." He said simply.
"I don't know what you are talking about" the man stuttered out.
At Durriken just rose his eyebrow at the man to say 'Really?' The dark and dusty man sighed, pulled the giant gem out of his bag, and handed it to Durriken. It was good since it saved Durriken from having to rough up the man in the bar. He turned then, making the man think he wasn't going to be taken in before he turned, and brought both fists over the man's head, knocking him out cold due to the dark magical aura around his hands that overpowered the magicless man. He then threw the man over his shoulder and walked out the door.
