Li-Qiu stared up at the temple. She’d had to ask to be pointed in the right direction at one point in time but she finally found the place. It probably looked better a few centuries ago but now it looked shabby and rundown. Oh well, as long as she got there and could complete the mission.
Protected from the desert’s heat by a white cloak, she made her way to the entrance of the temple, wary for any signs of life. Li-Qiu was pretty sure that there would not be any humans or creatures with consciousnesses here but monsters - those tended to lurk at every corner. And they were more than likely going to lurk in some place like this.
Footsteps quiet, she entered the temple, stopping and giving it a small bow to show her respect. It was always good to respect older and ancient places. One also never knew where spirits were lurking, just waiting to ambush someone for thinking something bad. Plus, what did a little respect hurt?
This place really was old. Some places were already eroded by the unforgiving weather and sand had piled up in the corners, sweeping across the floor at the slightest breeze. Just in case, Li-Qiu summoned Hurricane Judgment; deciding that it was better to be safe than sorry.
