Fight [Tower/mcstorm]

Tower had joined the guild only a few weeks ago and it was apparent that he wasn't the greatest at making friends since he knew barely any members who were apart of the guild. So instead of being social he decided that he would fight them and get his name out that way. He knew it wasn't the best plan since he was the bottom of the barrel and everyone was stronger than him but he was never afraid to get stronger or even take a beating, especially if there were girls there. He would then get the pity vote and they would see him as being brave for taking on someone stronger than him. His plan was perfect!

Tower told the few people he did know to go around and tell the other people that he was looking for a spar to test and gain some experience in battle. Since he didn't fight many things before that day he didn't have much battle experience so he wished to gain some. He told them to tell whoever that wanted to fight to meet him in the courtyard and they would duke it out until their hearts were content.

Tower sat in the courtyard waiting for his opponent wondering who it would be. He just hoped it wasn't anyone extremely strong that just made him look like a complete and utter fool. Though if they did at least he knew what his goal was to beat. He can't become the strongest by not fighting.

It had been a long time since Soul came to the Fairy Tail Guild. It had been a request by one of the members someone wanted to battle it out, and well The boy had nothing better to do. Upon reaching the courtyard Soul looked around to try and find a man looking for battle. His eyes came upon a man sitting by himself. Well that looks like someone itching for a fight. Soul walked up to the sitting stranger and smirked.

"So are you my opponent for today?" Soul asked rather casually. He was in a giddy mood since he was anticipating a battle. This man looked tough enough , and Soul was itching to fight again although he was still injured from his battle with Shinzu. So he won't be able to go all out, but that might just make the battle more fun.

Tower stood up after seeing the guy walk up and ask him if he was his opponent. He assumed since well he was asking around for a fight and someone showed up. The man looked a bit beaten so Tower might have a chance. He didn't feel right fighting someone who was already hurt but in battle you're not always in your top condition. He nodded his head at the guys questions and cleared his throat. [white]"Yeah that should be me. My name's Tower. I gotta warn you now. I'm not the strongest person, well actually I'm quite new but hey you can become the best by running away from fights right?"[/white]

Tower didn't hesitate at all, he quickly drew his hilt and charged it with light energy swinging right at his opponents battle scars hoping he could win the fight by reopening old wounds. He didn't have to out skill the guy but maybe outsmart him.

Range: Short
Description: Tower charges his sword with light energy allowing him to attack his enemy with a basic slash attack using his weapon.
Drawback: Can only maintain for 1 post. 1 post cooldown.

Soul couldn't help but smile when he heard the bit about not running away from a fight. He kinda liked this guy which is saying something since Soul isn't the most friendly person in the world. Soon after that this guy drew his blade and charged an attack. He was good to go in the middle of talking that gave him an edge. However Soul was still faster. Soul jumped back a few feet, when he hit the ground with his feet he dropped to one knee and skidded backwards. He was now a good 7 feet away from his opponent.

"Not a bad move." One may not be able to tell , but Soul was actually hit by the sword if only barely. "If I weren't wearing these cloths then that could of been an issue." Soul stated with a smile to his work. Soul's clothes were made from his magic and could not be torn by blades or by spells of lower ranks. He still felt the full force of the attack though, but at least he wasn't cut.


Now then! My turn! Soul's left arm and pectoral muscle were the damaged portions of his body so he would have to be careful. Soul clapped his hand's together and when they separated his right arm became encased with diamond.His entire forearm covered in diamond with an eight inch blade at the end of it. Soul then ran to his sparring partner and slashed down with his arm.

Spell Name: Carbon make: Diamond Arm Blade.
Type: Caster
Level: feeble
Range: 8 inches
Description: A blade made of diamond that is strapped to the users forearm. The blade goes out in front of the fore arm it extends from the fist about 8 inches. Can be repaired by spending some magic.
Drawback: Is not as strong as real diamonds, and can be broken by spells of its rank and above it. Although spells below it cant destroy it it can be worn down by them and eventually break.

Mana 85/90

Seeing his opponent jump backwards concerned him a bit. He could have sworn that he felt pressure of him hitting Soul but looking him over he saw no damage was done. He was convinced that his opponent was strong enough to not take damage from his attacks. Hearing that it was his clothes that protected him made more sense and he now knew that he needed to attack him where he wasn't protected by his clothing.

Hearing that his opponent announced when he was going to attack helped Tower a bit knowing that he should brace himself. If he was caught off guard that was just a bad move on his side. Seeing the mans right arm encased in diamonds surprised Tower never seeing that kind of ability. When soul dashed towards him, Tower knew that he could not run away seeing as Soul was faster than him.

Instead of running right as Soul was about to drop his sword hand down on him Tower jumped forward so instead of taking the brute of the attack he was hit in the left shoulder, with the bit of diamond on the guys forearm, and dropped down to his left knee being forced down by the guys attack. Knowing he couldn't charge his sword and slash in the amount of time he decided to charge his index finger and fire his light beam straight up at the mans face. It was the one place that he could see that didn't have clothing over it and the easiest to fire at.

Type: Photokinesis
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Long
Description: Tower charges his index finger with light energy, like a finger gun when he drops his thumb it fires out a small thin beam of light that is hot which is capable of singeing hair or causing small burns.
Drawback: 2 post cooldown.

Mana- 7/9

If nothing else this man is smart The red headed lad thought to himself. Instead of being cut by the blade he just took the impact of Soul smashing him. Not bad not bad indeed. Then soul got hit in the face with what seemed to be a laser of some kind. Hitting his cheek just under his left eye. Though it hurt he didn't feel any other effects. Soul smirked as the battle continued.

The enemy was in perfect range for one of his attacks. Soul swung his leg back , and fire began to surround it. Then he swung it forwards as hard as he could. It wen't at an increased velocity because of the flames. This guy was good , but Soul was cocky so he believed to be better. Definitely stronger, but as a pure fighter? Only time would tell.

Spell Name: Phoenix Kick
Type:Fire
Level: Feeble
Range: 5 feet
Description: It surrounds the chosen leg of the wilder with flames. Then the wielder proceeds to kick at the target. The User is thrust forward at the target up to 5 feet
Drawback: 1 post cool down. The user can not change directions once lunched.

Mana - 80/90

Tower smirked when he saw his attack hit the man in the face. Too bad it wasn't a stronger attack or it could have done some real damage. Tower was then caught off by a flaming leg which sent him flying back, when he hit the ground he began rolling and by the time he stopped rolling he was around 20 feet away from Soul. He then slowly stood up definitely feeling the two attacks that he took dead on, his shoulder hurt a little bit but the kick is what really did the damage.

[white]"Just wait, when I get a little bit stronger that attack will take off your head."[/white] Tower chuckled a little bit joking of course at first but realizing if he were stronger that, that attack could do some serious damage. [white]"Alright man, I'm a little beat up and I don't have too much more I can throw at you but hey I think I can take another one of your attacks."[/white] Towers body then flashed, he was trying to catch Soul off guard and hoping he could show that one day he could become a great mage.

Spell Name: Flash
Type: Photokinesis
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Mid
Description: When used it appears that Tower flashes as a bright light stunning the opponent/s for a few seconds. What really happens is Tower gathers the light around him and in an instant bounces it off of himself creating an area of effect of 8 meters.
Drawback: 1 post cooldown(While he gathers light). Hits friendlies also.

Tower then dashed towards Soul holding his sword out charging his light energy into it creating a blade. Tower then slashed straight down at the mans left shoulder, right after he slashed he jumped backwards quickly lifting up his left wrist with his cloth infused with light energy recharging his sword. He then charged his opponent and thrust his sword right at the mans gut.

Type: Photokinesis
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Self
Description: Charging his Magic Cloth with light energy, through the fight, he is able to knock off 1 cooldown post off of any spell.
Example: It takes Light Slash one post to cooldown, during that time he can use battery and instantly use that spell again or if he uses light beam then battery he only has to wait 1 post for it to cooldown.
Drawback: 4 post cooldown.

Soul liked this guy more and more by the second. He wan'ts to get strong eh? Well then that could be fun. As soul was thinking this he was blinded by what he assumed was a spell. Then a few moments later he was hit hard in his left shoulder. It hurt but, he could manage. That's when he noticed he was going for a light stab. Soul reacted quickly and blocked it with his diamond arm.


"You're just full of tricks aren't ya?"Soul asked with a smirk. Soul then used his left hand to form a fist. He swung it as hard as he could to hit the other man. this was a spell he had used very few times before. One from the old days, but just the one he needed.

Spell Name: Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Empyrean
Type: Caster
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Self
Description: The user hits their opponent with a blow that is backed up with Crash magic. This hits the enemy with a force , and can lunch them some distance. The highest distance for this level is about 5 meters.
Drawback: Only once per post , one post cool down.

Mana 79/90

Tower smiled when he felt his attack connect perfectly, too bad the guy blocked his stab attack. He smiled even bigger when his opponent said he was full of tricks, Tower knew it was true and he wished he could tune up his abilities and even create more attacks that could cause some serious damage. He knew he just had to keep working at it and soon enough his magic would be known around the world. He planned on becoming one of the strongest in the word and his magic career just begun.

Being so close to Soul and being caught day dreaming about the future, Tower was hit right in the stomach, it felt like his insides were turned upside down, the wind was knocked out of him, and he could swear a rib might have broken. Including taking the brute of the damage he was sent flying his body beaten and bruised. He laid on his back gasping for air, each breath he took stung like crazy making him cut off his breath. He laid there for a few seconds trying to catch his breath. Finally, when he felt good enough he slowly leaned up and smirked at the guy.

[white]"That was a good fight but I think I am just about at my limit. Give me a few days to recover and I'll fight you again."[/white] Tower began laughing but the pain cut him off and he began coughing. He then slowly got up and dusted himself off. [white]"So your guild next time or we meet in the same place?"[/white]
