Name: True Cross Tribulations Rank: B Post Limit:: 4 Objective: True Cross, a notorious dark guild that specializes in 'obtaining' and selling slaves, have wormed their way into Fiore, where they have been kidnapping citizens and going about their illegal deeds. Invade one of the makeshift Auction Houses that have been popping up over Fiore, put it to a stop, detain as many of the auctioneers and potential buyers as possible, and most importantly free all of slaves. Reward: 650 Exp: 80
After Yoichi had chosen a mission from the guild board, the duo had immediately headed out, quite a bit out of the way, to Tear Desert, a place that Riley was not entirely happy to be visiting once more. It held quite a few unpleasant memories for her, memories that she wished she had long forgotten, but this was not the case. Such terrible memories were embedded not only deeply in her mind, but in her very soul.
As she was on a mission, and a serious one at that, she carried herself accordingly. She did not allow Yoichi to fawn over her and hold her hand, instead she showcased her more serious side, no doubt the guild master within her - or perhaps the discipline of her childhood coming out, as the two were currently perched on a rooftop, where they were watching the hordes of 'lords and ladies' below as a rather troubling auction began.
Hearing the fluttering of wings, she automatically extended her hand, a barn owl perching upon her gloved hand. The bird ruffled his feathers and seemed perturbed as he bobbed his head about, which would not mean much to anyone else, really, but knowing what the bird was trained for, she watched his movement's carefully before nodding and allowing him to shift to her shoulder for the time being.
"It seems there are many more people inside the building than those that have been entering it... I guess we're just seeing the stragglers," she pointed out to Yoichi, raising a foot to rest on the low railing, she leaned forwards a bit, narrowing her eyes some as she studied the building, "mm, would you prefer to enter discreetly, or bust in?" She wondered, looking to him.
"... And how do you prefer to use your magic, offensively, or defensively?" She wondered a moment later.

Yoichi had followed her instruction's to the T, Listening to her final words his eyes closed a bit, His mouth forming a large grin "Well, If you're going to give me the option" He said, Standing up straight. He shook his coat off before grasping his shirt, Lifting it up and over his head as he tossed it to the side "Let's be sure they know who was here" He said, Closing his eyes a bit, His arms grasping his shoulders "Dark Écriture: Wings" As he spoke, His eyes slowly opened and his hands slid down his arms rapidly, Runes rapidly etching themselves along his arms. Magical swirls starting to form around him as he reached down into his jacket, Pulling out what seemed to be just the hilt of a sword, However, Shortly after grasping it a long black blade began to rise from the hilt.
"This, Riley, Is something I didn't have before" He stated, Moving towards the edge of the building "It's known as a Magic Sword, The blade is formed from the magical energies of the wielder" He gave her a smirk "Let's not let them get away with any of this" He said, Taking a few steps back before allowing himself to get a running start and leap off the edge, His wings keeping him at a set speed so that when he hit the ground in the middle of the crowd just beneath them, It left a sizable crater, Informed everyone of his pressence, And ensured he took no damage from falling down so far "This is your one chance, Clear out of this infested pig stye and you will keep your lives" His voice boomed with command as he stood slowly, Bravely showing off the large Griffin Wing Guild insignia that he had placed on his chest.
Though Yoichi was far from the strongest mage in Griffin Wing, There were 3 reasons he was so bravely leaping in first, 1) He knew Riley, The Guild Master, was right there with him. 2) He knew his power had grown, And was more then confident he wouldn't be slapped around too easily..and 3) The atrocity that went on here...Was not something he could stand for

Riley looked questioningly to Yoichi as he began to strip off some of his clothes, soon realizing what his intentions were, she simply nodded, dismissing the bird, whom flew off without hesitation. Her eyes trailed to him as he cast once of his spells, watching him quietly as she did so, recalling the spell from when they had first met, which had been so long ago for her, and yet not for him. He then pulled out a magic sword and proceeded to explain it to her, causing her to shake her head a bit. "I know what that is," she assured, rolling her shoulders a little as she moved to stand on the railing, her cloak blowing about a bit, her dark hair whipping around her face and her green eyes fixated on the scene below. Something blew past her, which she was easily able to follow with her gaze, but was a bit surprised to discover that it was Yoichi. A slow, small smiled flickered briefly over her lips, as she simply leaped down from the building - only to blur slight and disappear about halfway down, vanishing from sight. As Yoichi made his entrance the people stopped and stared - a few of the 'frailer' women whom were close to where he landed promptly falling on their rears or into the men escorting them with over dramatic wails of the sort of upper class people that lived privileged lives. Silence fell over the crowd, in which some whispered of his guild mark that was displayed so proudly on his chest, but the general reaction was to sneer and jest at his entrance - and furthermore call to the hired hands, mages that were already gathered within the building, acting as body guards and such, to keep things under control, the slaves from running away, etc. "Not so fast," came Riley's voice, from amongst the crowd. The people began to look towards her, a spark of recognition in some of their faces, needless to say, it did not take long for the group as a whole to realize that they had dug themselves into a hole. "I think you all belong behind the same bars and in the same shackles that you would have these people placed in," she calmly pointed out - and that made people scatter. Or try to. Riley did not make a move, save for the flick of a wrist, but with it, people began to fall left and right. While it may have been confusing at first, it was only made more confusing when it became apparent that the people were asleep, simply having fallen over and gone to sleep with a wave of her hand. She had guessed that this would not work on Yoichi, and she glanced towards him to confirm it, before looking towards the building - there was a ruckus inside now. Chairs scraping across the floor. Loud voices. People seemed aware that something was afoot. "These people should be out of our way for a few minutes, at the least. Lets try to deal with the real threat in that length of time," she told him, glancing towards the door as people began to spill out - mages among them this time. "And while I wont let you die or sustain serious injury, I wont coddle you, either," she assured, giving a fleeting smile as she did so. [Mana Remaining: 140/150] Spell Name: Sleep Knock Type: Universal Level: Destructive Range: 12.5 feet Description: A spell that allows the caster to put a single person or multiple targets (NPC, or player characters that you have permission to effect) to sleep, simply by giving a flick of their wrist. For player characters that you do not have permission to put to sleep, the spell will make them drowsy/less alert, making them lazy and lethargic. At this level it can put many targets into a short sleep, or a few targets into a deep sleep. Drawback: Has little to no effect on mages of a higher level, or with a higher Endurance skill level. Three post cool down, and can only be used a maximum of twice per thread. Anyone attacked after being put to sleep will immediately wake up.

Yoichi smirked, He knew this spell all too well and as she had assumed, It had little effect on him. He walked over towards her as they began to spill out and she spoke one last time "That's fine with me" He said with a grin "Just watch your own back as well, I may not have gained a lot of power in the time you've been gone but..." He leaned down some, Placing one hand on the ground "I'll show you exactly what I have gained in that short amount of time" When Riley had last seen him, His movements were vastly predictable, very slow and clumsy...However, This time....Not so much, Now granted someone of her speed was still easily able to see his movements, At the same token...she'd be able to easily see the vast difference that overcame him now. A simple kick of his ankle and with a gust of wind, He vanished from his spot, Though he didn't know the strength of these mages, He estimated them pretty high considering the mission was Class B.
Judging by that the Guards themselves must've atleast had some punch behind them, So he couldn't risk getting hit, So what would he do? Outspeed them. The wind that kicked up had gusted in front of where he was, However...When he appeared, He wasn't anywhere near where some might've thought he would be, Instead, He was behind the mages that had come piling out "Dark Écriture: Pain" His blade moved through the air very rapidly, Inscribing the runes before he made one slash through them, Pillars appearing above the mages. There had been one other time he used this spell while Riley was around, It was during their first mission. Back then, He was a lot more reckless, However this time his spell had a bigger punch with it, And it was better controlled as well. Just after the swipe of his sword he vanished once more, His voice calling out from the doorway though he wasn't there when most looked "I'll get the slaves, You take care of them!"

"Oh?" Riley asked, as he pointed out that he had grown a lot, if not in strength, then in other ways. She had noticed earlier, slightly, or at least suspected, but she pretended as though she had no idea what he was talking about. She made a mental point to teach him that speed was not everything, and with that looked to the mages that he had cast his spell upon. Rather than looking aggressive she looked a tad confused. The mages before her were not giving off much of an aura, each perhaps just slightly higher on the power scale than Yoichi, but that gave her an unpleasant feeling. Had no one really been able to match these mages? Had no one been able to stop them, or was it that no one tried? Perhaps they had some trick up their sleeve. Whatever the case, as they recovered from Yoichi's spell she trod forwards, that serious expression once more crossing her face. As she walked, the tips of her fingers began to glow with a dark aura, and 'invisible' threads spread forth, snaking outwards. The mages braced themselves for an attack, though in the darkness of the night they could scarcely visible in the dark of night. With a lash of her arm, the barbed wire like magic had slashed across the enemies, making them howl in pain. She might not have wanted to coddle Yoichi, but she did not wish for him to get too far away from her, in case something happened. This was why she progressed forwards, using a combination of her speed and the thick, vine like ropes of thorny magic dangling from her fingers to defeat her foes. It might have been trumped by her magic skill, but she was after all trained to know a person's weak points - taught to take a person down in as few movements and with as little effort as was possible. After some acrobatics, the mages fell to the ground, unconscious, and she attempted to make her way inside, only to be cut off by shifting sand, which formed a wall more than large enough to prevent her from progressing into the building. As she turned to look about, this wall collapsed downwards somewhat, attempting to engulf her, but she promptly dodged, her eyes fixating upon the opponent in question. The man, looking ragged, rough, and with a stoic expression, was dressed in the uniform of the government, but he was not just wearing any old soldier's uniform, but rather, wearing that of a high ranking officer, and his magical power seemed to match his clothing. "Now I see why others have failed to put a stop to these human auctions... Corruption runs deep, even in the desert, huh?" The man sneered towards her, lighting a cigar as he did so, "sand mage in the desert, just my luck, heh." She cast a brief glance over her shoulder, to the mound of sand still blocking the way (which either could likely get through with ease, if they were not so occupied). "Seems like you're on your own for now, Yoichi, please stay safe..."[Mana Remaining 135/150] Spell Name: Void Wire Type: Heavenly Body Magic Level: Mediocre Range: 15 feet Description: She summons forth the energies of a black hole, thick ropes of darkness, littered with thorns like the stem of a rose (or barbed wire), spring from her hands, snaking towards the opponent. They twist and wrap around the enemy, as cold to the touch as ice, restricting movements, barbs sinking into their skin (making them quite difficult to remove), while also cutting off circulation if they get a good grip. Drawback: While not very visible during the night, they are perfectly clear during the day.

As Yoichi darted inside, Two thoughts came across his mind as he thought about before....His attack, He had sensed something was wrong when he launched it, The mages had been pretty close to him in magical strength which was very disturbing...If that was the case with everyone here, Then why was it a rank B mission if he could complete it? It might've been tough in a solo but...He could've completed this mission alone, So why rank it B? To his understanding of the ranking system, The missions were based off their difficulty to complete and expectancy of death, So a rank B mission would have a pretty high cap on both and yet...It didn't seem anywhere close to that, So why?
This, Of course, Wasn't the only thing that worried him....Thinking about the Ranking of this mission....And how easily he was able to use his spell on the mages before....'Be careful, Riley-chan' He thought to himself, Though he knew she could take care of himself and that he should be worrying about himself....There was still much he did not know yet. Irregardless he made his way through the hallways, Surprised that he didn't see much activity all things considered, While most had seemed to flood out of the door when he was outside, He expected to see at the very least some kind of resistance. Irregardless, When he managed to make his way to where the slaves were being held, He began to cut each of the locks with his sword "Your free, Run!" He would say to everyone that he freed, Trying to work as quickly as possible, Using the wings he had to speed him up...However, Something was unsettling about this place...Where was everyone? Once all the cages had been opened, He raised his hand, Preparing himself to start marking his runes.
Something was wrong, And he knew it.

Riley's keen green eyes fixated upon the man that was stand across from her, perhaps fifteen feet away, at most. He did not yet make a move to approach her, and she was not nearly foolish enough to blindly attack a mage when they were in their element - especially when she felt that this mage was near her own level. Normally 'near' her own level would not concern her, but being surrounded by sand, and fighting a sand mage was a whole other story.
The man drew his cigar away from his mouth for a moment, "I'll make you an offer," he announced, exhaling a cloud of smoke into the crisp air of the night, "If you turn your gaze to this little... Mishap, then I will cut you a percentage of the profit, and ensure that the government leaves your guild alone for a while, miss Aquila," he said, tapping away the ashes on the end of his cigar, his grey eyes watching her intently, "if you're anything like the rest of your family, a sum of money that large should sway your mind, yes?" He asked, chuckling a bit.
A silence fell over the two of them, as a breeze blew between them, and her lack of response seemed to slightly unsettle the man, as he began to speak up once more, "would be a shame if the government were to suddenly decide to take control of your guild, wouldn't it, little mi-"
In an instant, she had vanished, smashing her knee into his stomach and sending him backwards, without her so much as breaking a sweat, though her jacket flew about wildly as she came to a halt, watching the staggered man, "neither my guild, nor me personally respond to hollow threats made by weak men," she pointed out, though could hear his laughter chiming in the night.
"It's true what they say about you... I expected otherwise, but you really are weak, huh?" He asked, standing himself upright and petting the wrinkles from his clothing, "physically, all of your power comes from your speed. Under all of that you are as weak and frail as a little flower." He chuckled, deeply, his voice coarse, "and I do love plucking off all of their petals," he grinned, cigar glowing where it rest in his mouth.
"You are welcome to try," she replied, quite simply, as the two launched at one another.
Within the building, things had been somewhat eerily silent, though there was a great deal of evidence that there had been foot traffic, and even noise from below, oddly enough. In the same area that he had freed the slaves, Yoichi might have noticed a crumpled rug, thrown a strewn across the floor, looking out of place, somehow.
As a trap door suddenly open, and a mage popped his head out, it became entirely clear why this was. Underneath the floor boards, in an underground bunker, was where the real auction was taking place - and evidently, their means of transporting the slaves without drawing attention, as there was a series of tunnels winding all the way from one of the desert to the other (likely dug by slaves).
"Oi. Are you the new guy?" The mage asked, crawling out of the hole, he paused. "... Where'd all the slaves go, new guy?" The mage asked, seeming a little perplexed, he was obviously not the brightest of the bunch, granted, there were more mages below that would likely proved harder to fool (or knock unconscious).

"Tch" That was all that came from Yoichi as the male began asking questions, It was too obvious he was dumb as a rock, Since Yoichi stood and brazingly revealed his Guild Insignia, But he didn't stay in that spot for long. Shortly after his first remark, Yoichi vanished, Moving behind the male with his sword swinging down "Don't EVER make the mistake of thinking Griffin Wing is into the slave business!" He snapped, Vanishing shortly after the sword would've hit or missed, Charging at him from the left, Using his own speed to put even more force behind his attacks and taking another swing at the male.
"I ain't no 'New Guy' here, I'm here to shut this place down....and kill anyone who gets in my way!" He told the male, Vanishing once more after the second attack and appearing above him, The wings batting down hard to keep him in the air, Yoichi could feel he was running out of energy...He had to end this....And fast.

As the two magical pressures clashed, the ground rumbled angrily, sand blowing about and lashing at both of the mages, though they seemed not to notice, likely because they were both built to endure a great deal of physical, as well as magical strain. The difference in them being that while he lacked speed, she excelled in it, and while she lacked strength, he had more than enough of it to go around. Whom would win. When the dust has settled, and they were standing facing one another, each was wielding a weapon. The government mage carried a heavy weapon, crafted of the densest of stones, and Riley her Blood Soul, formed from the deepest of darkness's (that of the soul). Riley shot forwards, slashing her weapon at the man, whom swung his lunged his weapon forwards, parrying her attack and sending her sprawling backwards into the sand. He tried to take advantage of this moment to swing the broad, heavy weapon down upon her, but she was already gone from that spot, and standing behind him. In the sky above, several orbs of light formed in an instant, coming together to form the Aquila constellation, before turning into a giant bird of light and swopping down upon the other mage in a mere instant. His response, was to turn to sand, and he promptly disappeared from sight, melding into the desert as he became nothing more than another dune, leaving Riley standing by herself, though she knew she was not alone. "Ehhhh?" The man asked, as Yoichi suddenly appeared behind him, slashing across his back and making him yelp in agony, alerting those below that something simply was not right. As Yoichi swung again, he dodged. Only to fall down the very trapdoor that he had emerged from - landing on another mage that had been attempting the climb the ladder. There was a great deal of cursing and shouting from below, as two more mages, aside the fallen and the one that was crushed and not really in fighting shape, stood at the bottom of the ladder. One drew back his arm, forming a ball of lightning in his hand, and waiting for Yoichi to appear, while the other, a web mage, capable of producing spider webs, set a trap for him, on the ladder, all around the sides of the opening that led downwards, and even along the ceiling, since he was flying and probably more likely to brush that then the floor. After tossing the ball of lightning upwards, the two mages scurried deeper into the tunnels, giggling to herself. [Mana Remaining: 125/150] Spell Name: Blood Soul Type: Sin Eater Level: Intermediate Range: Self: Grasp Description: Blood Soul is the collective sins of the Aquila bloodline, formed into a single weapon, which contains the many souls murdered unjustly by those in her blood line. The weapon speaks to her, whispering words into her mind, cursing her existence and asking why she is alive when they are not. When used on an opponent, the Blood Soul creates a wound that cannot be healed properly without healing magic, leaving nasty looking purplish-black 'scars' that swell, cause pain, and inhibit healing. The weapon is made of pure darkness, it is about as tall as she is, in the vague shape of a staff. It is a purple-blackish color, with a terribly dark aura that makes it look as those it does not have a solid form. When summoned, the air seems to thicken with tension and a terribly, foreboding feeling. Drawback: The weapon itself actually tries to 'eat' Riley. It's darkness spreads up her arm, devouring her body. The longer she uses it, the more it consumes her. If her concentration is broken, or something 'breaks' her mind, causing her will to crumble, Blood Soul will immediately consume her. Her body will be taken over by the lost souls, driven by vengeance and hungry for blood. She will thus only be returned to normal if killed, if the weapon is pried from her hands, if she runs out of magic, or if she is unable to use magic/unconscious. It can only be used once per thread.
Spell Name: Heavens Hawk Type: Heavenly Body Level: Intermediate Range: 50 feet Description: Each of the points of the Aquila constellation appears overhead, connecting with threads of light. There is a bright flash of white light, and the embodiment of a large Roc like bird of light appears in it's place. It swoops down at an intense speed and attacks, either with it's claw or simply by charging the entirety of it's body at the target. Drawback: The spell has a three post cool down between uses, and every time this is used its cost is increased by 10% for each use after the first one.

"Tch...." Another sneer formed across his lips as the man fell back and the further spells insued "Damn...Blasted lug alerted the others" He watched as the webs formed and then the lightning shot up, Yoichi wasn't an idiot, If there was mages on the top floor, There had to of been some on the bottom, So he wasn't going near the trap door without Riley "Cant lettem get away" He mumbled, Sighing as he swong his sword around a bit before allowing it to disengage, Placing it inside one of his pockets "Hey! You guys coming up or are you running scared!?" He called down from his spot in the air. "Come on! You guys are making this too easy clumping up down there!" He shouted again, Rubbing the back of his head 'Wonder what's keeping Riley..." He mumbled to himself. He looked back at his wings with a frown as some cracks had begun to form. Their time was running out and he knew of the webs that had been placed.
"Sure hope Riley gets here soon...Else I might have to resort to using that" He muttered, Beating his wings one more time before lowering himself to the ground and allowing them to dissipate. He needed to recover his energy and the only way to do that was to not use any "Kinda hope they don't come up here or drag me down there somehow" He said, scratching the back of his neck. He didn't know much of the web magic, But he knew he probably wasn't moving once those webs latched onto him...At least, Not by himself.

Standing in the silence of night, Riley glanced about, her opponent no where in sight, though she was well aware of what was going on. This was a fear tactic. He was trying to scare her, so that she would slip up. This much she knew, because she had been taught similar things in her youth. It was a sick game of cat and mouse, but the man did not seem to realize that Riley, while at times as meek as a mouse, was actually the cat in this game - or perhaps a tiger. "I am bored," she announced, taking a few short strides along the sand. It was greeted by silence, and so she let out a bit of a sigh. "I had thought that perhaps you would pose a bit of a challenge, but I was wrong," she held tight to the dark weapon in her hand, which began to speak into her mind. Diiiieee, child of darkness. She ignored this hissing voice, her green eyes scanning the motionless night, "what a brave man... Hiding away in the dark... Accepting bribes from people... Allowing humans to be bought and sold like livestock," he grasp tightened on her dark weapon as she showed a rare moment of anger, and in retaliation the dark weapon spread rapidly up her arm. The man did not seem to want to show himself, so she activated her Sin Eater's Eyes, which allowed her to pick him out rather easily amongst the masses of sands (being the only pile that had a dark aura filling it to the core), at which point she extended a hand, stuck out a single finger, and drew a circle, which created a black hole pointed away from her, which began to suck in the sand - including the mage. Needless to say, he wasn't long transforming to a more defend-able form when this happened, and she cut the supply of magic to both of her previous spells, as the man sneered angrily at her. When he blinked, she had disappeared, and appeared behind him, slashing him with her Blood Soul and causing him to fall to his knees. As his head tilted back, to growl to the sky in pain, he finally noticed them - the hundreds of dagger sized, jagged looking weapons had formed in the sky, looming similar to the Blood Soul in her hand. His mouth open, though no sound came out as these 'daggers of darkness' rained down upon him. Some part of Riley stilled seemed merciful, as she had aimed the spell to injure him, prevent him from escaping, but not to kill him. Similarly, many of the daggers had even pinned his clothes to the sand, ensuring that he would not escape. With a bit of a huff, she shouldered her weapon, feeling something warm roll across her cheek, her free hand outstretched to touch at the warm blood making it's way down her face, a fresh gash on her cheek. She had no idea when or how it had happened, but she let out a soft 'tch' sound, before swiping the wall of sand away with a swing of her dark weapon and entering the shady looking building - following the noise and stalking into the room just as he was musing to himself. "Well, dear, we're going to have to follow them eventually," she pointed out, tapping the Blood Soul against her shoulder as she looked around. "It would be bothersome if they escaped to warn their friends... And their are likely slaves being held below," she mused, spying the trapdoor that was wide open, "hm, I wonder what's down there," she murmured, striding absently over to the hold in the floor. [Mana Remaining: 107/150] Spell Name: Sin Eater's Eyes Type: Sin Eater Magic Level: Feeble Range: Self; Sight Description: A spell that Riley casts which turns her eyes a purplish-black color while it's effect is active. This spell allows Riley to see the accumulation of sins within people. Everyone has at least a little, but those with a large aura or core of darkness are quite obviously unsavory people. This aura of darkness is plainly visible to her, be it day or night, as long as the person is within her range of sight. She can choose to keep it active for as long as she pleases, at the cost of a constant drain to her magic supply, equal to the cost of a Greenhorn level spell. This spell is the manifestation of the sins of Angelo's betrayal of her, which she absorbed upon his death. Drawback: Can only detect those within Riley's range of sight. Cannot see through walls or anything of the nature.
Spell Name: Circle of Abyss Type: Heavenly Body Magic Level: Mediocre Range: As far as her arm can reach (for casting), has a gravitational pull of 10 feet. Description: She extends a single finger, summoning forth the energies of a black hole, she draws a circle in the air with her finger (in essence merely 'drawing' the thread instead of just letting it flow freely from her fingers), creating a black hole with a gravitational pull (facing towards whatever it is she is trying to suck in), that can absorb attacks of the same level or lower. She can dispel this black hole at will. Drawback: It can't swallow spells of higher caliber than it's own. When hit with a more powerful spell, the vortex implodes, causing a mini-explosion (which she is more than likely to be caught in).
Spell Name: Daggers of Darkness Type: Sin Eater Magic Level: Destructive Range: 60 feet Description: Hundreds of 'daggers' formed of a material similar to that of her 'Blood Soul' spell appear in the sky above the selected area/target(s). They give off a dark, intimidating aura, and are purplish-black in color. At Riley's command they rain down upon the selected area, all at once, using the area (and anything in it) as a pin cushion, impaling them. Like The Blood Soul, these daggers inflict wounds that can only be healed by means such as healing magic, not naturally through the passing of time. These wounds, while they don't cause the victim to bleed out, swell, cause continuous pain, and do in fact damage the body as a normal wound would (minus the bleeding). This spell is the manifestation of her brother, Maddox's, sins, separate from those of the rest of the blood line. Drawback: These daggers of darkness can only travel in a set path/straight line. Once unleashed, they cannot be stopped, regardless of whom or what is or is not in the way. Once per thread.

He blinked as he looked back at Riley "Riley..." He sighed, Moving with her to the trapdoor "Just some pests down there, Don't worry" He muttered softly "I'll have it cleaned up shortly" And with that, Jumped down the hole. No doubtedly stumbling a bit when he landed. Although, When he recovered he stood and began walking down the hallway "Looks like it's come to that" He muttered to himself, Stretching his arms and rolling his shoulders a bit 'Forgive me...Riley-chan...' He thought to himself 'Oh well...Guess it's one way to show her' He mused silently in his head, Upon reaching the end of the hallway, Where the auction was likely taking place he sighed softly , Taking his place further into the room "Well well well...Looks like we got us some inbred's down here" He shouted out loud, Placing both hands to his sides, Magical circles forming now just in front of them, but on the roof of the room and above the roof of the building.
"Can't allow ya'll to get away ya here" He said, licking his lips, Closing his eyes for a moment as the circles grew larger, His eyes opening halfway as he spoke "Dark Écriture, Meteor" This, Was his strongest attack....To those outside, They'd see an entirely different site from what was about to happen inside, On the outside, A massive black meteor that pulsed with veins of purple heading right towards the magical circle atop the building, Vanishing into the circle "This is going to hurt...But I'll survive, Will any of you?" He wondered, Now...There was a chance that they would, But that chance relied on Riley stopping him before the meteor made it through the Magical Circle, A chance...That was slipping away rapidly, And if Riley did nothing, The meteor would emerge through the circle only to detonate shortly after upon hitting the ground that was only a few short feet away from the opening and send out jagged shards that went in every direction randomly, Having no way to control where they went or who they hit.
Now, This didn't go without concequences, This one spell had a huge drawback at the moment...And shortly after the spell would've completed, Yoichi fell forward, Probably slamming hard into the ground below him, Completely unconcious. Dark Écriture Meteor at the moment expended all of his mana and energy, As a result, He could cast this spell one time before fainting completely.
Mana if the attack goes through 0/12

As Yoichi leaped down the hole in the floor, she slipped to sit on the edge of the floor, her feet dangling as she leaned her elbows on her knees a little, peering down into the hole below, wondering what exactly was going on down there. The tunnel was fairly deep, and she immediately noted there seemed to be a great deal of foot traffic which passed through the tunnels. "A hidden space under the floor. This building is relatively empty, aside a few cages... Most likely a decoy for whatever is happening below," she mused, and began to slip off of the edge, purposely mind you. She fell down to the floor below, cape fluttering, as she trotted forwards, still holding her dark weapon at her side. She noticed the large spider webs and arched a brow, glancing around slowly. "Tunnels? This operation is bigger than I had expected," she murmured, narrowing her eyes a bit, "once all the people are out of here I'll have to collapse these tunnels," Riley went on to reason, pausing, as she felt an increase in magical pressure. Her fingers stiffened, as she recognized this magical signature as Yoichi's, as he was apparently casting a higher level spell. In a tunnel. That could easily collapse. And was possibly filled with innocent people. Gritting her teeth, she dashed forwards, her jacket flying about violently as she went. As she went, she began to form a spell, but perhaps not one which anyone might expect in the situation. As she rounded a corner in time to spot the meteor emerge, she completed her spell, a barrier spell, generally used to protect people, but this time, she used it to contained the meteor within the destructive level barrier, where it exploded more or less harmlessly, though the ground rattled and sand fell from the ceiling. "Yoichi..." She grit her teeth, rather angrily at that, at his recklessness once more, which in this case, also put her in danger, being underground and with such destructive magic. Feeling a bit of strain, her body began to glow with the light of the her Stellar Body spell, which she used to dispatch of the remaining mages, which had more or less been incapacitated by fear anyways. She left Yoichi where he was for the time being, moving on to free any remaining slaves, transport the unconscious people, at which point she reduced the gravity on Yoichi, hoisted him over her shoulder with ease, and left the premisses - the ground rattling and groaning as she went, caving in the tunnels, as she had said she would. After alerting the government, she hastily departed, still carrying Yoichi, and still using her Stellar Body spell, which she used as she flew them not in the direction of Onibas, but Mount Hakobe. [Mana Remaining: 85/150] Spell Name: Light Screen Type: Heavenly Body Level: Destructive Range: 70 feet Description: Riley gestures with two fingers, and a dome of protective light rapidly covers a person or persons, shielding them from an incoming attack. This can be done for anything within a seventy foot radius of Riley. Drawback: Can only block one spell at the same level or multiple of lower levels. Once per thread.
Spell Name: Stellar Body Type: Heavenly Body Level: Intermediate Range: Self Description: Instead of outputting astrological energy gathered from the stars, Riley holds it within her body, causing her to glow a brilliant white. In this form she can move through the air at incredible speeds, no longer limited to simply fighting on the ground. It is incredibly hard to detect her in this form (unless she's hovering still), and even harder to catch her. This spell increases her Agility, and speed by 75%, and doubles her damage output for physical attacks while this is active. Drawback: This spell drains the equal to a feeble level spell every post it is active, it can only be sued three times per thread and has a cool down of two posts between uses.
Spell Name: Seism Type: Magma Mage Level: Greenhorn - Mediocre Range: Roughly 20-25 feet in whatever direction she uses the attack in. Description: Under the surface of the earth, lava surges towards an enemy, without coming to the surface. It causing the earth to crack and crumble under the enemies feet, resembling a sort of mini earth quake. This attack flows outwards in the direction that she indicates, traveling a more or less straight path to the target. The earth trembles enough to knock down those with poor balance or those who are not braced for impact, but not enough to cause any real damage to the area.
Feeble: Reaches 25-28 feet. Earth trembles more violently, capable of knocking down those with fair balance. Mediocre: Reaches 30 feet. Earth trembles harder, causing cracks that can damage buildings, knock down anyone within range that is not of higher level. Drawback: Friendly fire is possible.
