Eucliwood was enjoying her every day tea in the restaurant in Onibas. She had actually traveled to Onibas every other week to get her favorite green tea. As she held the clay cup in her hands, the words in white against the clay cups, Eu was inscribed in a kanji format.
Laying the cup down, her metallic blue eyes caught sight of the mission board. As she left her table, tracing her fingers softly over the table, her eyes scanned this mission.
Name: Den of Thieves Rank:B Posts Limit: 4 Objective: Some foul hearted folks have been robbing people whom have been returning home after a long day of shopping. It has been discovered that they are operating out of the abandoned sewers below, and have created a 'den' of sorts which they operate out of. Pay them a visit, and give them a nice, healthy dose of holiday spirit. Reward: 1,100 Jewels Exp: 130
As she moved closer to it, she read it and then looked at the ranking. A B, she shifted her gaze towards her hands and seemed to count them. What was it Fawn had told her? If she was able to accomplish a mission and live that would grant her the mid level rank she had be assured of getting, she nodded to this. She turned and headed towards the chair and sat back down once more, her long silver hair flowing over her back and down to the chair.
As she brushed her fingers through her hair to move it from her lips, she watched the snow outside and listened to the faint music. The paper was beside her, next to the notepad that had a pen attached to it. In front of her was her cup as well as a sandwich.

The snow was dense, so much so that each step forward threatened to swallow up Shinzu's leg all the way up to his ankles. In fact, if it wasn't for the constant snowfall, the footprints the teen had left behind would probably make it look like some sort of monster or beast had been creating havoc. "Is this it, perhaps?" Muttering to himself, the mage would drop onto one of his knees before slouching over to gain a better view of the ground below.
Using his gloved hands, Shinzu would begin scooping up the snow before discarding it somewhere safely in the distance. After a while, the teen had managed to get rid of most of the snow, revealing a manhole cover that would lead to the sewers below. Giving himself a nod, the mage would grab his broadsword, causing the intricate carvings on the blade to light up in a fiendish shade of red. Without hesitation, he would then stab the blade into the metal before slashing sideways, destroying the cover while also managing to crack the concrete around it slightly.
Despite having prepared himself for this moment, Shinzu couldn't help but take a few steps back as the foul stench of the sewers filled his lungs with greenish air. Grabbing his scarf, the teen would wrap it around his nose to block out most of the smell, however despite this it still felt like each breath of air was setting his sinus' on fire. "The faster this is complete, the faster I may leave..." He reassured himself as he poked his head over the hole leading towards a seemingly bottomless abyss.

Yoichi sighed, 'The Den of Thieves' eh? Didn't really sound that difficult for such a high ranking mission. But, Either way he'd complete it simply because it's reward was quite high. As the manhole cover was moved Yoichi watched as the man retreated in disgust at the smell, Yoichi taking the time to be the first one to jump down as he spoke about wanting to complete it quickly. About halfway down his arms glowed with runes and black wings sprouted from his back, Slowing his decent and making it so that when he got down there he was hovering in the air rather then landing in the filth or on the ground.
He looked around as his wings beat slowly, Awaiting the others to join. He decided that, Since he was the first one down here, He'd scout the area out a bit. He went down until it turned and then came back, Making sure they were safe before calling out "You guys coming!?" He hollered, His voice echoing through the sewers as he did so.

The dream she clearly wasn't living was a fake image she had cast with her mind. When her metallic blue eyes opened, she was in the sewers wading through the water and the smell made her slightly queasy.
Yoichi called out, but she just glanced towards him with a simple nod and then moved a little more quickly through the water. The feeling the murky, mucky water seep down her boots. Closing her eyes, she opened them again and glanced in Shinzu's direction before moving onward. She was aware of the dangers that lurked in Onibas sewers, but that wasn't what she was bothered by.
She felt her dress get slightly heavier as the water was absorbed into it, her metal seemed to shine even in the dullest of areas and her hair was tied up on either side to stop it getting covered in the dirty water beneath. Eventually they came across a fork road, one tunnel leading on ahead up and another leading to the left. She walked forward and put her hand against Yoichi's chest as to insinuate to stop. She stayed silent (Like she always was) and focused, the sound of the water was the only thing she could hear, but there was a faint rumbling coming from the tunnel ahead. She guessed that was where the sewers fell down a level, so she turned and headed up the left tunnel, looking back to make sure the two males were following until she came up at a wide area. It was a dead end, but she could sense magic around.
Her eyes moved around, turning slowly as she did so before looking towards Yoichi and Shinzu to make sure they had arrived too or at least on their way.

Shinzu almost snarled at the purple haired man as he sprouted a pair of jet-black wings before being the first to jump down into the sewers below, a opportunity which should of went to the teen. Not willing to dwell on this for too long however, he simply brought his feet together causing a black shadow to envelope them before he dashed over towards the hole and jumped in, the act of which causing the shadows to dissipate to reveal a pair of demonic winged boots.
A gush of water would explode around Shinzu as he landed, spraying the walls in green droplets. As much as he wanted to lead, seeing how the teen had never been forced to navigate through the sewers before, he simply followed Eucliwood, the only one of his two allies who he had actually met before. "Feel like introducing yourself, Mr Purple?" Clearly, his comment was being aimed at the man with purple hair. Before much time had passed however, the group had already ended up in a wide open space, which was clearly reeking of a lot more than sewer water. "Come out, come out, wherever you are..."

"Nope" He told the male as he followed the female, Allowing his wings to dissipate to conserve mana. Upon reaching the large opening he sighed softly at the male's words "Trying to get us killed already" He stated abruptly. He looked around, Feeling the energies that surrounded them "Well, Looks like they're trying to hide themselves as typical thieves would" He muttered and shook his head "Sadly, My magic deals with direct contact with another creature, So one of you two will have to knock down the wall unless it's a false wall in which case we walk through and knock them all out, No blood, No killing" He told them, His voice sounding very stern and commanding "I will have no deaths on my watch"
His voice, tone and overall attitude was a very commanding one, A very dominant one, However, It also revealed something about the man he would never openly admit...It revealed that he himself was a Leader, A commander of sorts. Why wouldn't he ever admit this, You might ask? Simply put, He hated having followers...

Eucliwood listened to the two before shifting her gaze around the area before holding her hands out, her hands began to glow and form into two purple blades with intricate markings on them, or so the illusion would seem. Once the blade transformation was done, her hands would appear hidden beneath the blades. As she leaned back, she shifted her gaze around the wall - the water around her feet rippling before she burst into a dash and leaped.
The small moonbeam in the sky glowed and caught with her blades, casting brightness in the room for a few seconds before she landed on the ground. She dashed again and this time swung at the wall, creating a sort of clashing metallic sound before she fell backwards and landed neatly on her feet in the water, she glanced around before shifting her gaze upwards towards the small light of the moon that protruded into the sewers, she glanced around and followed where the light seemed to lead. The wall was weakest there, so it seemed. As she nodded, she burst into a dashed towards it - she leaped and the blades from her hands met the wall. The second they did, the wall began to tremble and shiver before crashing and falling down. Behind gaped a big hole. Looking back towards the two boys, her metallic blue eyes seeming to be the only things seen in the darkness and the wall that apparently was around them beginning to fall and crumble.
She tilted her head to the side and awaited them to lead, clearly inquisitive to their actions before she headed over to them and let the blades disappear.
[mana used = 1/10]
Spell Name: Handsonic Type: Necromancer Level: Feeble Range: 1 metre Description: Her hands hide beneath the daggers, giving a vision that they've turned into daggers of some sort, meaning she fights using them while attacking. They're a purple color and sharp enough to tear through flesh. Each level gets stronger depending on her level. Disappears after she cancels it or loses all her mana. Drawback: It can easily cause her to stagger or lose balance if countered.

"Very well then, Purple." Having been left nameless, Shinzu decided not to press the matter on any further and simply carried on calling the man by his nickname. Glancing around, the teens gaze would be met by nothingness, however judging by the others, it was more than obvious that the enemies were around. "Please Purple, we are guests here. It is only common courtesy for our hosts to come out of their own accord to greet us, is it not?" The grin on the mages expression would only widen, almost growing dark and more sinister as the purple haired man began barking out orders about not killing anyone.
"Dead or alive, does it matter? Either way you two get to go home with your pockets full. Me on the other hand, I'll take my reward in the form of some entertainment." At this point Shinzu would notice a harsh metallic clang echoing in the air, which would be replaced by the rumble of falling debris. Walking over towards Eucliwood, the teens eyes would meet with a gaping hole, such clearly being the thieves so called hideout. "Well now, if the rats wont come out to play, we'll just flush them out, wont we?"
Chuckling slightly, Shinzu extended his palm outward which would begin sparking in some sort of dark energy. This aura would then compress in front of his hand until it had formed a basketball shape, which with a flick of his wrists would explode outward, unleashing all the compressed energy in the form of a wide pillar of black. The column of energy would fly across the area, causing the water below to split and separate below the mass of energy, revealing the rather gritty and aged ground. Upon blasting its way into the hole however, the concrete around it would crack and rupture, causing screams to slowly grow louder and louder as the remainder of the surviving thieves scuttered out of the hole and presented themselves to the mages with scornful eyes. "Hello there, ready to die?"
Mana: 130/150
Spell Name: Gravity Well Type: Universal/Gravity Level: Destructive Range: 20 Meters Description: This spell is initiated by the user extending his palm forwards, which in turn will create a orb of gravitational energy about the size of a basketball. After a second, the user can then unleash all this power in the form of a immense column of gravitational energy, spanning up to 20 meters in length and with a width of 5 meters. A closer inspection would also reveal that the beam is actually made up of millions of tiny droplets, giving the resulting attack the appearance of a horizontal downpour of black rain, which is actually highly compressed gravity given a physical form. Being hit by several droplets will simply weigh the target down for a post, reducing his speed by 20%. Anything taking a direct hit from the beam however will be pelted by countless amounts of gravitational energy, causing the target to be compressed into oblivion. A boulder hit by this attack would be compressed into nothing more than a minuscule pebble, while organic beings would suffer just the same by having their very bones crushed and shattered into pieces. Drawback: Two post cool down. The beam of gravitational energy can only be fired in a linear direction, making it relatively easy to dodge for skilled opponents. Price and Availability: 6 Essence Crystals.

Yoichi sighed, The only thing keeping him from killing Shinzu outright just for his comment was the fact he was stronger. If that one fact wasn't a factor, Shinzu would be face down in the sewer water right now. However, Yoichi knew he was stronger, He had to have a class B mage to accept this Job anyway and he knew Ritsuko was about his level. With a shake of his head he walked around, Staying out of the sewage water "Shinzu, If you kill a single person, I will inform Riley" He told him softly, Stepping over the debry and wandering into the hideout, His hands in his pockets as some metal clanked around in his pocket.
Little did most know, He kept the hilt of his Magic Sword in his pocket, and the clanking was of his engagement ring and hilt scraping together. He didn't mind what Shinzu's response was, As he knew Shinzu would realize WHO he was and doubted he'd ever attack unless he wanted to deal with Riley, On top of that, If Shinzu DID attack, Shinzu wouldn't be able to kill him outright because of his own Magic type. You see, Dark Ecriture allowed him to alter law's even without using an actual spell, As a result, He could easily make it so he was at the very least faster then Shinzu for a brief moment in time, Enough to allow him to escape and inform Riley of his attempt to assassinate him while on a mission.
Irregardless, He doubted Shinzu would be dumb enough to attack so he wasn't too worried as he wandered into the thieves den "Just try not to get us killed or kill anyone else here and we'll get along just fine" 'You impatient little prick, Cant believe Mizu really wanted THIS guy to be helping us....Ugh' the last part he thought to himself so Shinzu wouldn't hear him, A soft sigh coming out of his lips.

Eucliwood listened to the two bicker somewhat indirectly towards each other, her metallic blue eyes simply marveling silently the twos indirect yet somewhat direct attempts at insulting each other.
She pressed her hand to Shinzu's cheek (Seeing as she had to reach out as far as she could) and then her other hand to Yoichi's shoulder before moving her hands down. Due to a speed increase, she then moved forward with Yoichi to gazed up at the thieves who had been running out of the hole, the height difference becoming obvious. A small girl staring up at a tall human.
The thief glanced down at her, seeming to suddenly lose fear. He leaned down to her, like he was talking to a child and held her gaze just to suddenly freeze, their eyes locked and he couldn't seem to move. He tried to, but his body was paralyzed and his gaze turning black, he pupils becoming wide and seeming to cover the whole of his eyes and glaze over. His breathing became limited and quick tight breaths as he panicked.
Eucliwood kept her eyes locked with him, her eyes lips pursed and a sort of aura emanating from her. She awaited for either Shinzu or Yoichi to realize that she had indeed made this thief a sitting duck and unable to move, thus becoming a pretty easy target.
Spell Name: Dark Sight Type: Necromancer Level: Mediocre Range: 7 Metres Description: Eucliwood glares directly towards the person, their eyes locking and causing the opposing person to be blind and unable to move, causing them an easy target. Lasts until she cancels or blinks. Drawback: If she's hit by a spell or if they have the strong enough will power to fight through, then they can cancel through. It stops her from attacking or moving, causing her to be an easy target.

"You will inform Riley if I kill even a single person?" With a chuckle, Shinzu pointed at the hole that lead into the thieves hiding place, which thanks to his earlier spell, had been increased to twice its original size. Even now, loose bits of rock and rubble were breaking apart and falling from every crack and crevice around the entrance, however upon a closer inspection, the purple haired man would just about be able to spot bits of mangled corpses within the darkness of the shadows. "Better inform her now then, people have already died thanks to your inability to stop me."
As if this wasn't enough to provoke the man, Shinzu would focus his attention on the man directly in front of Eucliwood, who for the most part seemed to be frozen in time. "These people are scum. Unworthy of living." As he ranted, the teen would walk closer towards the paralyzed thief before placing his hand on the foes shoulder. "But such is not a valid enough reason to kill them. You see, I am only doing this to mess with you. That is my reason and that is why they are going to die, simply because you are here." Sensing what was about to happen, the thief would grow wide eyed, however this would quickly end as the mage thrust his sword into the mans chest, causing what little light that remained in his eyes to vanish as he fell to the ground with a pitiful whimper. "I suppose that's another for the kill count. So, when will Riley be arriving to tell me off?"
The remainder of the thieves would begin backing off slightly, almost as if they were trying to inch away from Shinzu and closer towards the purple haired man, who they no doubt saw as the safer judicator for their crimes. "Oh and for future reference, telling someone not to do something will almost certainly lead to them doing it." The waters below would begin to be contaminated in a reddish shade as the teen dipped his blade into it, before pulling his sword out to reveal a gleaming, albeit smelly weapon. "And not forgetting Riley of course. If you are going to threaten me, mention someone who I haven't already had the pleasure of defeating in the past. Generally, that will work a lot better."

Ignoring the two, Eu pondered silently, her long silver hair floating over the top of the water before she glanced back at the two and then pointed inward, her pale lips pursed together and her metallic blue eyes filled with inquisition.
She felt like that was too easy, surely there was a leader unless he had been killed in Shinzu's blast. Which, admittedly, was over the top. She turned her gaze in the direction of the gaping hole, watching bits of rocks fall into the water with a splash and she knew that it was going to be a long journey until the hole had become a dead end or moved into a new tunneling system.
Stepping slowly through, being careful not to go face first onto any rocks or anything like that. She inhaled the air, the smell of blood and body filled her nose and made her stomach churn a little, swallowing down any urge of vomiting, even though she had an iron stomach and had to once live off eating bits of dead animals when she had been stuck outside of the fairy tail guild for days without a word or socializing from anybody. Pressing her fingers to her lips, she glanced around just to realize the whole area was coated in blood.
Something wasn't right, she covered her head, her eyes going blank like and she could see herself drowning. She screamed, or in the least she had her mouth open and no words or sound came out, she shook her head as pain filled her mind. No, she was having an illusion. She figured it out instantly, snapping through the illusion. She opened her metallic eyes and there he was, standing in front of her.
Pressing her hands together and summoned her scythe, swinging it around to face him. The red and orange tinted blade pointed in his direction and her metallic blue eyes narrowed. She swung it and he leaped back, the blade hitting the wall and making a clanging sound of metal against rock. Where the other two were, she didn't know, but she'd quite happily fight this by herself. This thief was an illusionist so she had to be careful.

Having been rather preoccupied with annoying the purple haired man, Shinzu would only now notice Eucliwood in the distance, seemingly swiping her scythe at nothing but the rocks around her. Focusing his eyes into the shadows however, the teen would notice a strange figure wrapped in darkness, this no doubt being a enemy. With the ability to keep Eucliwood busy for this long however, it was starting to become clear that he was on a different caliber to the rest of the trash.
"Well I am no longer in the mood for this Purple, shall we say our final goodbyes to these poor souls that you were unable to protect?"Allowing a torrent of black energy to compress in his palm, Shinzu would once again unleash it into the crowd of thieves, sending them crashing into the concrete ground which would shatter and explode in a violent surge of water and rubble, leaving behind nothing but a gaping hole which lead to another sewer system one level lower than the current.
With the remainder of the thieves now most likely dead, Shinzu focused on the the single foe Eucliwood was fighting. A golden glow would begin emanating in the teens hands which he would throw to cause the light to stretch like a lightning bolt before wrapping itself around the enemy. Much like a chain, the spell would drain the mage of his energy, leaving him in a weakened state which Eucliwood could exploit to finish him off.

It seems like he wasn't needed as they were about to finish off the last bits of them...So why did he come along? Well, He gets a split of the rewards either way so fuck it why not? Besides, Maybe Riley would look at him as stronger since he wasn't just sticking with her all the time now, Not that she didn't look at him with pride anyway but still.
His biggest thing was maybe the GUILD would look at him with a bit more respect if he started going off on missions without Riley again. Either way, The job was done and the den was cleared (Even if Yoichi did nothing to help) he didn't really need to do anything anyways, He viewed this mostly as him needing to come because of Ritsuko, And the fact this mission required 3 of them to be there for them to be allowed to take it.
