Name: Con-artist Outbreak Rank: C Posts Limit: 2 Objective: Due to the vastly approaching holiday season, con-men are practically on every corner selling 'rare' and 'expensive' items for a 'reasonable price'. These con-artists have been tricking people out of their hard earned money, giving them junk in return for what they believe to be a quality item - put a stop to this. Reward: 600 Jewels Exp: 65
Durriken walked through Kunugi deciding to lend his expertise to this town since Onibas seemed pretty con artist free at the moment. He made it clear early on that he knew nearly every scam in the book and that he wouldn't let people rip off the residents of his city. He wore his usual garb, a red vest with small crystals sewn into the fabric that caught the light and simple black silk pants. Around his waist, there was his new bag instead of the old cloth bag. Within there could be an untold number of items hidden within the bottomless bag. As he walked through the streets, he kept his eyes and ears open for things that would signify a faulty game or cheap business. He didn't see any crooked games around which made him feel better since that showed a city getting down on hard times. He did see some street vendors selling some jewelry on the street corner and he decided to walk over and see their wares.

He walked over and began to peer at the gold and silver items littering the stall. They were well under what their advertised amount of gold should have been worth. This meant one of two things, they weren't the correct karat of gold or that they were only gold plated. He had to sigh inwardly when he saw a thin gold chain advertised as being nearly pure gold. Something that fine could not be made out of that good of gold or it would snap under the slightly pull.
He couldn't just try and snap the man's jewelry though just on the off chance that it was real so instead he looked toward a pair of large gold ear rings. He held them in his hands and knew right away that they were not heavy enough to be pure gold.
As the man began to talk to a woman about an emerald ring, Durriken took his nail and pressed it into the metal of the earring. His nail went through the gold pretty easily as it should have but stopped once it hit the harder metal underneath. He pulled his nail back and saw the hint of copper beneath.
He sighed and reached into his bag with his free hand and activated his a tarot card. He then pulled the conjured dagger out of his bag. The people around him took a step back in freight thinking Durriken was about to rob the place.
"This man is a fraud, selling you only cheap knockoffs." He said as he carved off the sliver of gold to reveal the copper beneath the 100% 'pure' gold earrings.
The police who came over from him pulling the dagger took one look at the gold plated earring before dragging the man off to be questioned.
