Riley, whom had been gone from Fiore from a long time (at least to her - by everyone else's standards next to no time at all had passed), and though she was looking a little more mature that usual, she still walked with the same gentle smile as she always had. The people of Harujion were as hostile as ever, ignoring her purposely or not even paying attention to her, but she didn't mind. She knew what they were like, and that the city wasn't particularly fond of being asked questions.
And Riley was asking a good many questions, about the dark guild known as Kitsune's Lament. She was surprised to discover that for the most part the people did not want to give her any details about the guild or it's location - in fact, she had been chased out of one shop by a woman wielding a broom.
"Hmm," she murmured as she walked the streets, noting that people were more avidly avoiding her, or whispering as she passed. She assumed this meant that word was getting around that she was looking for the guild. They probably believed that she was there to level the guild or something, but she had merely made the trip out of curiosity.
And now, she was more curious than ever, as the people seemed rather attached to the dark guild, but why was that? What could a dark guild possibly have to offer the citizen of a hardworking town?

Haru was out on a causal walk. Nothing special besides the fact his mother was getting some supplies for the guild today. As always the rumours about him were still at large when the towns people saw him. It was obvious about who they were talking about about seeing as they stared while whispering. If you are going to spread rumours you should at least spread them when the person isn't right across from you. It bothered him a bit but when his mother smiled at him everything disappeared and he would only smile. “Ignore them Haru, they are just mean.” she always said, and that's what he thought most of the time. People where evil and fed off other suffering to make themselves feel better about their shitty lives.
As they walked into the market place he broke away from his mother teller he he'd be around the town for a bit. He wanted to find more trinkets mostly shiny new rocks around the beach. Of course walking around with all these twisted rumours was like walking into a biker gang while bad mouthing them but Haru was strong and prepared for the worst as always. It wasn't easy being an outsider with a dark past and being apart of Kitsune Lament, a guild with both fame and infamy. Haru made his way down the markets street until he noticed a new person in town.
“Hello.” Haru spoke to the woman in a soft tone. If the tone was cotton balls the girl would be neck high in it. Of course Haru wanted to know who this new person was seeing as he was also hearing rumours about a new girl around town looking for his home and guild. He didn't know what she was doing but according to some rumours she was going to level the guild, so he had to find out for sure. ”Are you looking for Kitsune Lament.” the boy spoke in a soft cheek manner like a shy little school girl.

Riley perked up a little as she heard a strangely soft voice in the gruff post town, one which seemed to be addressing her. "Hello," she politely said in return, coming to a halt before the boy and eying him a little curiously, as though wondering what he wanted.
As he continued to speak, she chuckled a bit, "I am," she confirmed, giving her head a soft nod. "Would you happen to know where I can find this guild?" She asked, not bothering to offer her name or status, as he would be unlikely to answer her question if he thought she was there to destroy the guild.
"Perhaps, you are one of it's mages?" She wondered, her green eyes blinking slowly. At her level she could rather easily sense the magic in his blood, so it seemed likely that he was a part of the guild (as only a small portion of Harujion's population even had magical abilities). "Yes, that is most likely the case," Riley mused aloud, raising a hand to stroke her chin thoughtfully, "I've been waiting for one of you to come find me..."

Misa ran through the market, looking for Haru and their mother. Her grandpa needed some things and forgot to ask, so he sent her out. Mi spotted Haru in the edge of the market, talking to some woman. "Yes, I've been waiting for one of you to find me for some time now..." Mi heard as she ran over to Haru. "Haru, grandpa needed some stuff so he sent me to find you" she said quickly and out of breath, eyeing the woman. "Oh hello" Mi said to the woman. "Are you looking for the guild?" she asked politely, since new faces usually meant they were looking for the guild. "I can take you" she said.

Haru listened to the woman for a moment. So it was true, she was looking for his guild. What did she want with them? Was she one of those world government terrorists? Or was just just a rogue mage looking for a place to stay. Honestly it is always hard to tell someones true intentions. “I do....” his voice seemed to trail off into the silence of the town. For a mage of Kitsune Lament he tended to blend in with a lot of people. The smaller boys cold blue eyes had a flicker of dark purple in them, seemingly radiating his magic even a little bit.
He didn't trust this woman for some reason but then again he didn't trust anyone but Misa, his Grandfather, and his Mother. She also somehow figured our he was a mage. The thing that suddenly started to make him worry was her last sentence, “I've been waiting for one of you to come find me.”. The phrase echoed in his head and made a pent up rage build up. The whispers of his magic getting a little louder in his head. Small portals under his feet had opened up and leaked a bit. “Why would I ta-” Haru sentence was sawed off by his twin.
Haru's magic quickly retreated back into the portals not to be seen again for some time. He looked at his twin and smiled brightly. “Misa we can't bring people home without having mom or Grandpa's permission.”he spoke in an almost pouty like tone. Out of all the people in the village, he always hated the new comers that waltzed on in looking for his guild it bothered him and made him paranoid about what they would do. “ What do you want with the guild miss.” he asked the matured woman.

Riley blinked a little as a girl suddenly approached them, seeming to recognize the boy, and later making the connection that the two were siblings. She chuckled a little at the girl's carefree nature, so easily saying that she would lead Riley, a complete strange, to the guild - where as her brother was less than pleased with this, at the mere mention of her searching for the guild his magic seemed to act up a bit. She brought her hands to her hips, watching the two siblings for a moment, noting that they looked to be about the same age.
The magic seemed to disappear from him as he argued with his sister, scolding her over her decision to lead her to their guild. The dark haired young woman chuckled a bit at the difference between the two siblings, as they reminded her somewhat of herself and her own brother. Her laugh, as well as her voice, was a gentler one, and this continued as she spoke up once more.
"I want only to sate my curiosity," she answered, her bright green eyes flickering between the two children as she did so, "I hear what the townspeople are saying. They seem to be under the impression that I seek to destroy your guild, that much I am aware of, but I am merely here to investigate as a... concerned member of the magical society," Riley slowly responded, choosing her words a little carefully as she was afraid that knowing whom she was might cause them to clam up entirely. As long as they were talking, all was good. And as long as no one recognized her, hopefully things would stay that way. Though, she hard already decided that even if they declined to give her the answers and such she desired, that she would follow them back to their base regardless.

"Ah, another concerned member of the magical society, well no ones come to visit the guild for a while without being a member" Mi said happily. Maybe Haru didn't want this woman who he didn't know going to the guild a small corner of her brain said. Another part said no, this woman is fine, she doesn't want to hurt the guild. Mi went with this part of her mind.
"Well let's go then" Mi said, not giving Haru any more choice in the matter. "Haru, this woman is fine" she said as they walked towards the guild hugging the sidewalks as the streets got narrower. The guild was on the edge of town, and though most of the town knew what it was, newcomers always thought it was a castle owned by a rich person. "Here we are" she said, putting her arm in front of it like she owned the guild.

Haru still wasn't too trusting of this new woman. Then again he may be over reacting, but on the other side of the toonie he might as well be right. And once again another thing this woman says bothered him. She just wanted to feed her curiosity so she was probably investigating the guild for illegal activities. He himself was an illegal being having banned magic and all. This was also the case for Misa, who also had a banned magic, that was actually the exact opposite of his own, being all holy and everything. Honestly he was afraid of her magic going after him every time she used it around him.
“Curiosity got the cats neck slit.” Haru spoke under his breath. Of course this made his magic laugh in his head. The dark haired boy looked at his sister and mumbled as he followed. “Misa I don't think we should bring her really!” he spoke with a worried tone in his voice. However Misa being Misa she brought the woman to the guild where there Grandfather was cleaning around outside. Haru stared at his grandfather before turning back to the woman.
“Haru, Misa, who did you bring back now?”[/i] he asked with a soft chuckle as he walked over to the group of three. “Misa brought back this woman who wanted to see the guild.”[/i] Haru responded without thought. Haru gave a glare to the woman as he stood beside misa, both almost looking like mirror reflections but also exact opposites. Their grandfather obviously recognized Riley from pictures in the paper, and rumors going about. “Haru, calm down, it's just a woman. She's from Griffen Wing so be nice and treat her with respect.”[/i] the older bald man spoke making Haru pout a bit.

Riley smiled gently at the girl, whom was much more hospitable than her brother. She supposed she couldn't blame the boy for suspecting she was up to no good, considering the rumors floating around and the mystery that was surrounding her appearance and intentions. "Thank you for trusting in me," she said to the girl, whom was apparently named Misa. She cast a glance to the muttering Haru and chuckled a bit.
When they came to the guild, Riley observed it with an air of curiosity, wanting to see what it was like inside, but thinking that she was already pushing at boundaries that she perhaps should not cross. She spied the old man, and watched the two siblings stand side by side, the boy glaring at her and the girl seeming as content as ever. She chuckled a bit at them.
As the old man seemed to recognize her, she brought her right hand to the left side of her chest, resting it gently over her heart as she bowed slightly, "Riley Aquila, guild master of Griffin Wing," she politely introduced, slowly uprighting herself as she did so. "I apologize for not saying so earlier, but I was afraid that it would scare you off," she gave a bit of a laugh, raising a hand to rub at the side of her neck.
"To be honest, I came here because I've heard a lot of rumors about this place lately, and I'd like to see for myself what is going on." She told them, slowly crossing her arms over her chest as she did so, "I have no interest in starting wars with people that I'm not even sure are enemies," she huffed a bit, seeming to show a bit of annoyance at all of the rumors suggesting she was there to level a guild that she was really only hearing of for the first time.

Mi was surprised that this woman was a guild master. "So you're a guild master? Wow" Mi said after hearing what was said. No point starting wars with people who you don't know are enemies she agreed in her head. "I don't know why the government thinks we're bad, I mean, we take in mages who've done bad stuff and help them. They should be happy, not trying to kill Haru" Mi said, revealing some information. She realized that right after she said it. "Oops. Riley, do you want to come inside for a bit? Take a look around?" Mi said sweetly.
Walking over to Haru, she patted his back. It was alright, really. Why had Haru been worried? It probably had something to do with the government and her. "Haru, why were you so worried about this woman? She seems perfectly nice to me" she asked her brother quietly. Maybe he would lighten up for once, with someone new visiting.

Haru grumbled as he stared at the women, scanning her like an x-ray once again. He was looking for any lies in her speech, but honestly he couldn't find any. Haru wasnt looking for a fight, he just wanted to make sure his guild was ok and no one would hurt Misa. The blue tinted haired boy stared at Misa with disbelief but had to listen to his master who was also his grandfather. “Ok sorry grandpa and Misa.” Haru lied through his teeth. He wasn't sorry he meant to be like this. And honeslt could give two shits about what anyone else thought.
Takeo, the bald elderly guild master looked at the woman and ruffled Misa's hair. “Yes, please do come in. We don't have much food or anything, but my daughter is out to get some right now.” the elderly man spoke as he brought the mature new woman with him. As he walked he pulled Haru along giving him a gentle smack. “Be good and don't insult the guests.”[/i] he spoke harshly and deeply. Haru grumbled as he was smacked, and listened to the best his brain could allow him to. “ Well we don't do anything wrong.” Haru responded with a almost asshole like tone.
Takeo looked at the woman as they entered the guild. The guild littered with different kinds of people. Much more varied then both light and dark guilds. They had damaged people, normal people, light preppy people, the dark evil looking people, and so forth. Haru went and sat down on his beeny bag chair and smiled. Takeo looked at Riley and bowed his head, “Nice to meet you Riley. I'm Takeo Hiroshi, the guild master of this guild, and I welcome you to our home.”[/i] Takeo pulled out a chair for Riley to sit down.
“It's always nice to have visitors they arn't trying to kill us, or looking for someone within the guild.”[/i] the old man spoke. “Again I apologize for Haru's behaviour he has seen some of the worst, so strangers are always doubted in his head.”[/i] the old man spoke as Haru mumbled as he played with a rubix cube. Everyone staring at the new girl before they go back to their normal routines which was singing their jolly old songs and drinking.

"Mmhm, and I came all the way here from Onibas to see your guild," Riley told the girl, smiling, though it faded a bit as Misa went on to comment about about taking in mages that had 'done bad things.' "Well, that in itself is a problem," she pointed out, still looking over the guild as she did so, "there are mages whom would use this guild as a meat shield after they perform their misdeeds. I'd help anyone that needed it, but harboring fugitives is another thing," she pointed out, noting that she couldn't say much about such things given the fact that her brother was quite obviously an unsavory sort of person that was walking free on mere technicalities.
As she was asked to go inside, she nodded her head a bit, stalking after the family and noting that Haru was giving her hard looks. "If I had wanted to destroy this guild... It would already be a pile of rubble," she assured him, turning her gaze to the old man as he spoke up. She nodded to him politely, though arched a brow as he said they didn't have much food. "Does your guild not have much money?" She earnestly wondered, seeming a bit surprised by this fact. While the question was a bit intrusive, it didn't sound like she was prying, it sounded more like concern, of all things.
Her eyes scanned the crowd of people as they entered, green eyes dancing as she observed the crowds. She smiled as the old man bowed to her, returning the gesture and thanking him as she sat down in the chair he had pulled out for her.
"While I am here purely out of leisure this time, it might not be the same next time we meet," she pointed out, not meaning it as a threat, but rather presenting a possibility. "I hope that isn't the case, though..." She murmured, reclining a little in her chair as she did so. "It's not like I don't understand how Haru feels... It wasn't that long ago that Griffin Wing was regarded rather distastefully by... Well, most people, I suppose. The government still nitpicks with us over trivial matters. They're like a bunch of children, really," she commented, which was a bit amusing coming from her since she wasn't all that old herself.

"We don't have much money" Mi said a little sadly. They could be used as a meat shield, she thought. "Though most of our members are getting a second chance here than rotting away in prison. We don't break them out, they come here" she said hastily. The guild had gotten better over the years, maybe they should go to the council and get permission to be a rehabilitation kind of guild. She sat down on her bean bag and picked up a pad and her pens, and Mi started to draw. A picture of Riley made its way onto her pad. "Riley, how did your guild get legalized?" Mi asked the woman nicely.

Haru grunted as he looked at Misa who was free spitting out information he didn't want anyone to hear. This is the reason why they were classified as rebels against the government because they took in criminals that wanted to repent. There was nothing wrong with that was there? But there always were a few that wanted to bum their resources for their evil acts. However their mother usually dealt with them behind closed curtains, and those people were never seen again. He felt the depths of hell in him burn when people spewed out their lies about Kitsune Lament, his guild, and home.
The blue haired boy turned to his grandfather who glared briefly at Misa for her ignorance. “We have as much money as needed.”[/i] he spoke as he scratched the back of his bald shiny head. The children around the guild liked to make fun of his bald him, often calling him Bowl Master, or asking him if they could polish it for him. Their grandfather sat in thought as Haru looked at Misa's drawing. Haru himself, to control his anger sen his scythe out from it's resting form and started to sharpen and polish the blade so it looked like it was right out of the blacksmiths.
Soon after the girl made her comment about levelling the guild everything went quiet and the guild master laughed, “I ask that you don't say those things. I may be sick but I still have some fight in me. And my daughter, well... It's best you don't say it with her around.”[/i] he spoke softly like a monk. He wasnt saying that she couldn't but it would be wagging a war and no one wanted another war on their hands. Haru glared at the woman. “It's not like we let break them out of prision! We just help them start over and get their lives back when light guilds won't accept them. We pardon all things in the past and move on forwards towards ones goals.” Haru spoke up, his voice carried like the sound of rustling leaves in the winter.
Takeo took off his sandal and threw it at Haru's head, “BEHAVE!”[/i] Takeo raised his voice before coughing a bit. Haru felt the sandal hit his head like a storm of gravel. He whimpered a bit before stared at his weapon. Takeo smiled softly, “However what the children say is true. We don't break them out, they come to us. And the government always try to find some reason to have us on their most wanted but we don't break any laws really.”[/i] The bald man spoke as the guild doors flew open and a woman in shorts, tank top, and long black hair walked in.

Riley's eyes widened a bit as she sprung to her feet with enough force to knock the chair she was sitting on, onto it's back. It might have seemed like she was springing into attack, but instead the girl bowed, her forehead practically touching the table as she faced towards the guild master.
"Please forgive my crudeness," she asked, slowly up righting herself, her chopping black hair falling before her face as she looked to the guild master, "due to... some recent events I've... been adjusting to being around people once more... I did not mean to be crass, Mister Hiroshi," she earnestly asked his forgiveness, slowly moving to upright the chair and sit on it once more as she heaved a sigh. In spite being a guild master herself, she held all people as deserving her respect and curtsey, so she legitimately felt bad for carelessly saying such a thing.
Her worried expression faded a bit as Takeo chucking a sandal at Haru broke the tension in the air, and with this she allowed herself to focus on the girl once more.
"Hmm, well, we just did a lot of hard work to push ourselves into the light," she began to tell Misa, turning a little in the chair to face the more open of the two siblings, "we took whatever missions we could to help people, and oftentimes helped for free. We didn't turn our backs on the people that needed help, nor did we back down when things got too troublesome," she said, her hands slowly falling to rest on the table, "Griffin Wing and the government are on acceptable terms at present, but if they were to do something unjust then we would oppose them, no matter what the foreseeable consequences might be..."
She cleared her throat a bit, glancing back as the doors swung open, though she had no idea whom it was, so she merely turned back to Misa, "to me, a light guild has the job of protecting people whom cannot protect themselves, that's why mages like us have to strive for more power... Not because we desire power itself, but we desire to protect." She concluded, nodding her head a bit to herself. "What is a light guild to you, Misa?"
