It felt nice when she was close, resting her cheek atop his head and he wouldn't have mind just remaining like that until he felt a hand pressing against his head. Being shorter than Lillian, he turned his head to look up at her as she explained how her spells were more for support and before long she said she was going to tell him something that nobody reall knew other than an Arlyn. His ears visibly twitched at the idea of learning something new and he moved in close and paid all attention to the female sitting next to him as she began to explain more about herself. Her story was, in his opinion, long as it explained her tribe and just where she came from. It even slowly explained where she had got her magic before she mentioned how they were sealed during an event.
His pointer finger from his right hand lightly scratched his head as he tried to think or at least even remember any sort of history of foreign places that he might be able to mention to Lillian but nothing came to mind. He released a sigh as he listened further, her words explaining how the world had changed further than what three days should have done. He looked to her, the look on her face before her laugh caused his heart to ache a little and he moved. In a moment he was standing in front of her with a very soft smile splayed out on his lips. His hands reached forward and lightly grasped her cheeks as he closed his eyes and chuckled softly. ”I help... Best to knowledge...” He said, wanting to assure her that to the best of his knowledge and abilities he would try to help her.
”Sort like you... Lost in world...”
[/b] He mentioned, his hands leaving her as he leaped back from her and stretched his arms out so it formed a perfect 180 degrees from one hand to the others. ”I no remember... Past... Gone...” He said, shaking his head as he allowed his arms to drop before crossing them over his chest and tilted his head down and to one side with his eyes closed as he tapped on foot. ”No remember... Struggle speak... Only magic and geography... Some words hard.”[/b] He said, sighing as he straightened back up and threw his hands out as he released a very soft chuckle once more. ”Help eachother... No?” He asked, his hands grasped his kimono as he pulled the top open to reveal his upper torso which was mostly covered in bandages as he grinned. ”Fair is fair... Show magic.” He said, twirling one hand in front of his body the air seemed to visibly contort with his hand and slowly white began to form where his hand circled. His other hand joined as he spun them around in an orb shape as the white grew more condensed and with a single chuck he threw the sphere into the air. Almost as if on command the orb 'exploded' in the air creating a cloud just large enough to cover the park, casting them both and anyone in the park in shadows. ”More showy... Normally flows from kimono...” He said, explaining why he had opened the top of his kimono up as he looked at the cloud. ”Wont activate... Would get wet...” He said, hinting towards just what sort of magic he used and with a very casual wave of his hand the cloud disappated. ”Pretty useless...” He said, his arms crossing in front of him once against as he sighed. ”That extent... Of power...”Mana: 50/60 83% Spell Name:Cloud Creation Type:Rain Mage Level:Mediocre Range:Long Description:Allowing their magic to flow into the air around them the Rain Mage is capable of manipulation the water molecules in the air. Their magic allows them to bind the water molecules together which enables them to create clouds whether at ground level or in the sky. The size of the cloud depends solely on the mage. At mediocre level the maximum size cloud that can be generated is a mile in diameter. Drawback:No notable drawbacks besides the loss of visibility when the cloud is form at ground level. Requires 5 mana per post to maintain the cloud.

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Lillian's expression finally returned to it's usual. Her green eyes watched the male as he offered to help. Her lips pursed and she thought about it. "To learn more would be nice. If only there were scriptures of my language. It's sort of like hieroglyphics except it's not pictures or words, it's patterns." She leaned back slightly, almost forgetting there is a fountain right behind her and not a wall. Listening to him afterward; she couldn't help but feel a little better. Lighter. It seems like she wasn't the only one confused on the past, but this male was lost on his own path. She watched him, blinking her eyes. "Your way of speaking is something I like. It's a lot easier to understand." She spoke the truth. Next thing she knew, he was pulling his kimono down with his arms dropped to his kimono and he lowered it to reveal his bandaged torso. Thinking back when he offered to help, Lillian decided something more. It was mainly so she wasn't alone anymore and that she and her brother had more help, plus she enjoyed the company of this male and was interest greatly in him. "Okay, we can. We could also perhaps team up and travel around together?Lillian's eyes examined the bandages for any signs of blood, but nothing came to her sights. Maybe they were just for show? She shrugged, looking up towards him as he spoke. "Oh no? Eye for an eye? It's fine. I promised to show you my magic." She moved a little, her body still. She was actually slightly curious to his magic though. She watched the sky, noticing the orb form into a large cloud which darkened the area with a shadow. Lillian blinked, listening to him and then smiled a soft and rare smile. "There's a fountain behind us, wet is fine." She turned, tracing her finger through the water and watching the ripples follow her finger in a curved v like motion. Lifting her finger after, watching the water drip; she pressed her fingers to her forehead and let the water drop down from her face. When he spoke about the extent of power, Lillian couldn't help but wonder what he entirely meant but stayed quiet. "So how come you like your mask a lot?" She asked, curious. • MANA; 100% [xx/xx] • OOC; OOC here •

His arms uncrossed once again as a small smile appeared on his face as he slowly wandered back over to Lillian. The smile began to spread a little bit as he liked the idea of teaming up with Lillian and traveling about. Maybe they could help one another, himself helping her with his knowledge on the areas and herself with helping him learn more and possibly help him remember himself. He placed his hands behind his head, his eyes drifted off to the right as once again he placed himself in a strange situation that, to onlookers, might not seem so innocent. ”Travel... You... Seem fun.”
[/b] He said, his hands returned to his sides as he found his seat next to her once again. ”Glad you like... Way talk...”[/b] He said, fumbling slightly over his words as he tried to say them so they would at least make some sort of sense to her. ”I... Try... Speak... Clear.”[/b] He said, struggling with only minute breaks between each word as he tried to find the best ones before he looked up to her with his soft violet eyes once more. ”I wear... Mask... Afraid... Others think.”[/b] He said, leaning forward slightly as he sighed and allowed his gaze to look towards the ground. ”Not pleasant... To eyes...” He stated, his equivelant to saying that he was certainly ugly or at least in his eyes he believed himself to be. ”People cruel... No understand...”[/b] He said, looking to her once again, his face blank of emotion as he nervously looked to the side. ”People no like... Different...”[/b] He said, his philosphy being thrown on the table as he closed his eyes and hung his head with a very light blush on his face. ”Not everyone... Beautiful like... You.”[/b] He said, honestly showing that he had minor self esteeme problems, especially in regards to appearance when compared to some one like Lillian. Sure they were different genders entirely but in his eyes he was like an insect in comparison to Lillian's appearance which rivaled the beauty of the phoenix she could turn into, at least in his mind. ”You... Know?”[/b] Asking her plainly if she understood where he was coming from. Mana: 55/60 91%[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Lillian watched him and nodded. "Well." She let the fountain water kiss and play with her fingers as it sprayed out of the fountain. "If you think I'm fun, just wait until you see Arlyn. He's a lot more entertaining than I am. I think you two will get along well." She had completely forgotten about her hunger by now. The discussion and time she was spending with this strange individual was nice. She enjoyed his company very much and liked to share things with him she wouldn't normally even think about saying. When Arashi spoke about how his appearance seemed to turn people off or he would get judged, she could see how he was self conscious. Lillian's hand lifted and her fingers traced the mask before following his cheek line. "You are who you want to be. Nobody gets right over your person. Your beauty is something you get from the heart, not through other peoples eyes. I mean look at me." Despite her thin physique and curvy appearance, her clothes were rather revealing. They pretty much went over a small amount of her bust, only covering half of it and being propped up by white straps which turned into a collar with a tie hanging loosely between her cleavage. Her black shirt only followed the outline of her torso and left a big oval-like gap revealing her stomach. "I admit it's a little much, but it's me and it was the clothes I had since my tribe. It's really something I don't want to change." A soft breeze caught her hair, making it flow to the side and wave in an elegant pattern before letting it fall back down behind her back. "I like your appearance. You're not ugly at all. If I was a little younger, I'd probably end up having a... What's the word... uhmm.." She pressed a finger to her lips, looking forward before nodding to herself. "A liking, as it were. So don't be shy of who you are. As long as you accept yourself, nobody has the right to argue." She pressed a hand to his head and softly ruffled his hair. • MANA; 100% [xx/xx] • OOC; OOC here •

His eyes watched her closely as she explained her thoughts on one's personal beauty. He could feel her fingers trace along his mask before he felt her fingers follow his cheek line which caused his cheeks to brighten slightly. When she mentioned to look at her, his eyes took in every inch of her form. She was beautiful, to some she might not be but to the smaller male who sat next to her she resembled a goddess. He nodded his head as she admitted how her clothing might be a little much but the sentimental value of her clothing far exceeded the actual use of her clothing, or at least that is how he took it. He listened to her closely as she mentioned how she liked his appearance before mentioning that she might have ended up having a liking had she been younger.
His cheeks were red as she spoke, his violet eyes watched her closely as he felt her hand on his head before ruffling his hair which didn't really change the already dishelved appearance. Her actions, along with her words, seemed to pick him up from the small bit of depression he had as he was not only blushing but had a small smile on his face. His eyes closed as he leaned into her hand much like a cat leaning into it's owner's hand as it was petted. ”Thank... Lillian... You cheer up me.”
[/b] He said, a soft sigh being released as he slowly stood up once again before he proptly leaped at Lillian. His arms coiled around her like snakes as he nuzzled her affectionally like a giant kitten. ”You... Best... Friend.”[/b] He said, his tone showed that he was absolutely happy with being her companion and friend. ”Trust you... Greatly...”[/b] ”How old... Lillian?”[/b] He asked, gazing up at her as he remained latched onto her once again like a giant parasite. He once again showed his rash side as he not only tried to probe further into who Lillian was but also just due to his pretty much violent hug and nuzzling. He didn't seem to care about much though he did seem to have what appeared to be rather low self-asteme. Mana: 60/60 100%[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]She couldn't help but smile, listening. Lillian watched him as he leaped at her an suddenly started hugging her. Letting his embrace envelope around her and she rested her hands to his back, softly patting his back and then moving her arms slowly around him and just held him there, closing her eyes. "Best friend, hm? Never had one of those." Her arms moved a little more tightly around his body and she pressed cheek to the top of his head and laughed; a little strain. "Trust you too." She nodded to him and closed her eyes. Listening to him speak. That was a good question. She was thoughtful, pondering. Was she really the same age? Was it really 3 days? "I'm 22." She spoke softly, smiling. "I think..."She looked thoughtful, blinking. Was she still 22 and Arlyn was 13? The 9 years difference made her wonder even more. If it was three days, then why did the barrier on their cave so limited that it broke suddenly. 3 days couldn't have made it so weak, those things lasted thousands of years. She looked down towards him, closing her eyes and smiling. Her mind hurt, but she ignored it. "Tell me..." She leaned more into him, his hair was soft. She was curious herself, of his age. "You say you don't remember much, but do you know your age? Or can I guess?" He looked so young, yet so mature. Lillian thought, guessing he was between 17 and 19. Or that was her assumption. • MANA; 100% [xx/xx] • OOC; OOC here •

He remained latched onto her, his grip never faltering for even a moment as he enjoyed the feeling of being close to, who was essentially, his first friend ever since he had recovered from ordeal of losing his memory. He listened closely to her as she mentioned how she was twenty-two but the coming sentence after that had him doubting that she was entirely sure just how old she was. He seemed a little tense in her hold, the feeling of her arms around him had him tenser than most times. He had even jumped a little bit when she had patted his back but he didn't say or attempt to push her away. He leaned into her as she leaned into him, his ears listened to her question and it got him to think for a moment.
Trying to remember something that was completely scrapped from your head, due to memory loss, was like trying to drill into a sheet of metal with a twig. It was both frustrating and at the same time physically painful, at least for Arashi. A small groan escaped his lips as he tried to force his way into the memories that were hidden deep inside his mind. He shivered slightly as he held her more tightly before his lips began to move and form words. ”Erm... Can't... I know... Old...”
[/b] He said, his eyes opened up to look at Lillian once more as he panted softly from the strain of trying to remember something that didn't seem to want to even be remembered. ”I recall... Old... Pretty old...”[/b] He said, softly nuzzling into her collar as he released a soft sigh. ”Hurts... Remember...”[/b] Mana: 60/60 100%[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Lillian's eyes widened, even a little bit. She had felt him tense and felt the urge to pull away, but when he didn't push away and actually did the opposite; she closed her eyes a little and moved her hand softly up and down his back. Her lips pursed and she nodded. Suddenly he groaned, which was a random sound to her. Her green eyes slightly opened and she blinked. It wasn't a happy groan, it was a painful filled groan. She wondered if she was hugging him too tightly, but her eyes flashed with worry when he began panting. The male spoke, explaining he couldn't remember and how it hurt him. Her eyes widened as he spoke about being pretty old. She blinked her green eyes. He didn't seem old? Then again, everybody had different perspective views on old. She bit her lower lip and thought before leaning away from the male. "Pretty old? If my beliefs are correct..." She gazed thoughtfully above him. "It can't be as old as I might be."The barrier she and her brother were behind... It was meant to last many days, many. The magic that was behind the barrier was stronger than anything, but... The spell froze her and her brother in time. The volcano island had debris everywhere, there was solid rock and there was nothing that said life. Not even the smell of decaying flesh. It was all sulfuric and there was technology and a sudden new island that was never once there in the distance. A sinking feeling hit Lillian's stomach, making her feel suddenly so sick and a lump was stuck in her throat. She fought the urge to begin wretch. If she was thinking this logically. She could be over 100 years old. That made her feel weird. Was she really older than what she believed? Erica seemed to be happy and was looking very healthy, three days wouldn't have made her feathery coat so shiny and healthy. NO way. • MANA; 100% [xx/xx] • OOC; OOC here •

He tried to remain close to her, it helped him feel at least sort of protected in a world that he remembered nothing about. While she was new to this era, his memories of the era were locked behind steel reinforced doors in the back of his mind. Something about Lillian definitely made him happy from both knowing such a beautiful woman and also being friends with her. His eyes looked to her as she leaned away causing his smiling face to fade as she mentioned how it was likely that he wasn't even close to being as old as her. Her true age was a mystery to both of them as she could be anywhere from only twenty-two all the way to thousands of years old. Though he wondered if age that wasn't spent actually living counted in the long run, along with the fact that she still fully resembled some one the age that she should be.
He slowly moved, his arms released her as he slipped from her and slowly walked away from her with his hand resting on the top of his head. He ruffled his own hair as he began to think once again which earned a small grown. From the position he was from her, she would be able to see the bandage wraps which covered nearly the entire upper portion of his back. He definitely didn't look entirely healthy, almost frail enough to the point of being snapped in half by even a small breeze. He was skinny along with his skin being just about as pale as it could get. His bones were just barely visible meaning either it was natural or he wasn't prone to eating frequently. ”Hurts... Try to remember...”
[/b] He said, speaking about how it physically hurt him to try to remember anything. ”Would try... Remember tribe name... Might have read... Can't...”[/b] He said, his head turned over his left shoulder as his left eye gazed to her with a slightly depressed look. ”Not fun... Frail... Agile... But frail.”[/b] He said, talking about himself as he released another sigh as he stood there, his hand once in his hair dropped down to his side as he looked back towards the city from where they were. ”Could say... Hundreds year old... Me. You... Maybe... Thousands?”[/b] He said, throwing the idea of himself possibly being hundreds of years old while she might being somewhere along the thousands. His hands slipped into his pants pockets as he plopped himself down on the ground, leaning forward as his feet crossed in front of him. His entire spinal column visible even from beneath the seemingly thick wrappings wrapped around his upper body. ”Wish could... Remember... Might help... You if could...”[/b] He said, his eye gazing back at her from over his shoulder once again. He was some one filled with self-esteem issues, minor depression and no hope for the future. He tries to hide it through acting like a child but with the predicament they both had he was slightly upset. She was lost in a new era and he was lost in a world which he should have fond memories off... At least he believed they should be fond. Mana: 60/60 100%[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Lillian watched him, her gaze filled with disbelief. Was he really roughly the same age as her, if not younger but still older than 100 years? She examined him, looking up and down his body. "Don't try and remember then." Lillian said softly. "Memories come when they want to, you can't force it to. It will come when it wants to." She smiled. "My Tribe name was the Ash'ai tribe. We were named after the Phoenix goddess, Ash'ai." She crossed her legs, leaning forward a little and closing her green eyes slowly. When he spoke about the many years old, Lillian looked thoughtful. "Uhm.. years? I don't know... Thousand years... I don't like that feeling of being over 1000 years old. It can't be true." She shook her head, refusing the idea. "I..." She trailed off, noticing the sadness in his gaze. "You'll remember when you can. Trust me." She smiled, head tilting to the side and closing her eyes with a soft laugh. "Besides, I will help you with your memories. I promise." She nodded, lowering her head and closing her eyes before sighing and leaning back against the water before watching him, a soft gaze in her eyes. "These jewels you gave me, are they able to get food? If so; where can we get food? We can talk more over a bite or two; if you don't mind helping me read." He listened to Lillian closely as she spoke about memories coming when they wanted too. She made it seem like memories themselves were actual, beings that had a choice. He always believed that memories were something that you could just openly force. Of course he showed that it was both mentally and physically taxing on an individual. For him it was almost like one was trying to pry his skull open with a flat head screwdriver and it only made it worse that it was, essentially, himself that was trying to do the prying. His gaze was stuck on the fence between a sense of sadness and another of softness. Had it not been for the fact that he had said he was going to be her companion so she and her brother could actually find some sense of direction in this confusing new era. Her words cheered him up a little as she told him to trust her in the belief that one day his memories would once again be able to return to him. Oh how he loathed having to wait and really wanted to remember his past.
His ears perked up at the mentioning of helping him along with his memories. He didn't really expect her to want to even spend remotely any time even trying to help him with his memories but he guessed it fell under the eye for an eye figure of speech she had mentioned earlier. He was going to devote his time to helping her and her brother find their way around this new continent it was only natural that she would try to help him back. Her attitude to the situation brought a small smile to the once masked man's face and slowly he rose from his spot. He stumbled a bit as he stood up straight once again, the slight curve in his back much more announced. His hands slowly ran down and pulled his kimono back up over his shoulders as he heard her mention the jewels and if they could go out to get any food to fill their stomachs. His hands lightly gripped the cloth around his waist and tied it into a knot to secure his kimono to his frame once more. He slowly turned and as he faced her there was a nice and gentle smile plastered on his face. "Sure...

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Lillian noticed that he was quiet for a while. It felt nerving. She couldn't help but shuffle awkwardly on the chair and clear her throat. Finally, the male spoke. His answer was small, but she got most of it and stood up. "I can't read your things yet so you're going to have to forgive me, but I heard some people talking about a... Rest-au-rant.. Whatever that was." She sounded out the word. "I've never heard of one before, but they said it has food and that's good enough for me." She headed forward, boots hitting the floor and noticing his smile. A smile moved across her lips themselves and she grabbed the jewels he had given her earlier. Examining them, she held them up to the light and blinked. The numbers on there still made no sense to her. Moving to Arashi's side, she waved the paper. "What does this say?" She pointed to the numbers. "It makes no sense." She gazed back at the numbers, sighing. "They're... Strange. This is all strange. Just wish I could read your language better. It's still a mystery that you can understand me and I understand you..." • MANA; 100% [xx/xx] • OOC; OOC here •

He stood there, his violet eyes watching her closely as she spoke about hearing about something named a restaurant and that she had never heard of it before but just due to it having food was good enough for her. He nodded his head, his eyes watching her closely still as she wandered up to his side and waved the paper that he had given to her a little while ago. She asked more questions before mentioning how it was strange how they could understand one another but written language was a huge barrier for her. ”Restaurant... Place where food made and eat.”
[/b] He said, reassuring her that what she had heard earlier was the truth before he nudged her with his shoulder that he was going to start walking now. ”Paper say... One hundred... Number... One to infinity.”[/b] He said, using his hands to show her the number one before blowing his hands out in front of him in a dramatic way to simulate infinity. ”Restaurant ask for certain amount... You pay amount... Just match... Jewels to requested... They want two hundred... You give two of these...”[/b] He said, pointing to the money that was in her hand as he tried to explain it to her as well as his broken language would allow him to. If she had questions he would answer them and make sure to keep her fed and full considering he didn't normally eat a lot himself. Traveling, doing odd jobs, rarely spending jewels, he had quite the packed wallet for now should it come to needing board and food. ”What you use... Before? Trading...?”[/b] He asked, curious on how her tribe would go about feeding one another whether it be for free or if they traded things to one another for better things. It was an interesting idea. [atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=valign,top]Listening to him explain what a restaurant was, the second he said food her stomach suddenly groaned objectively. Pressing her hand to her stomach, she listened before laughing slightly. "Stomach is hungry." She listened to him once again, his hand gestures were interesting. Suddenly maths were happening. Maths was something unfamiliar to her, but she gazed down at the paper. "Two of these..." She had to think. So if one was 100... Two would be 200? She lifted one up, then took another. That was two, right? It seemed it. "Ah. That makes sense." Looking at him with interest. He asked her another question and she blinked. They never traded, everybody on the island was near enough a big happy family. "We just gave and got. If we were hungry, we'd go out and get food for everybody. If one got older we'd give them hand crafted items.." An idea seeped into her mind. "After, is there a soft sandy area where the water rushes in and they have shells there? I guess it's called a Beach; many people have been calling it that." Or at least a place that gives shells."If we had something that somebody else wanted, we'd give them it for nothing. We just don't charge. We don't have... Jewels back then. We have friendship and bonds. If we wanted something in return, they would be sure to have it with them, if not we'd give them what they wanted and they could take as long as they wanted to give us what we wanted. Only Oracle was a give and get straight away. She needed most of the things." Lillian smiled, watching him. He looked so frail compared to her. She had been on this island for a while and she only ate what was given to her for free. Sometimes random guys would give her food for a weird reason; all with big smiles on their faces. Other times, she would visit the guilds and enjoy the free meals mainly because she was offered. Lillian hadn't really eaten other than those times. • MANA; 100% [xx/xx] • OOC; OOC here •

He smiled to her as she mentioned how her stomach was hungry, his eyes watching momentarily as she pressed a hand to her stomach which caused his smile to turn into a small grin and he chuckled to himself softly. He listened as she tried to think about it, math was probably something she wasn't entirely used to. He listened closely as she explained more about her family, his hand trailing up and slipping his mask over his face as his body curved very slightly forward while they walked down the street giving him a sort of exhausted look. ”I see... Strange... Corruption... Greed didn't... Exist...”
[/b] He said, his head turned to her with his eyes once again hidden behind the pale white kitsune mask on his face. ”Surprising... Greed... Base instinct.”[/b] He said, everyone being perpetrators of greed somewhere in their life time which easily would cause any person to want more and more till they could own everything. ”Beach... After eat... Near port.”[/b] He said, his arm making a lazy gesture in the general direction of the port which held the boats which would fish for the fish to make the food and income for the strange town. ”Know place... Nice place... Pretty good... Don't eat normally.”[/b] He said, rubbing his stomach as it made of soft rumbling sound, nothing like the beat that Lillian seemed to keep contained. His arms gestured in front of him as if reaching out to invisible objects. ”Good noodles... Meat... Fish... Vegetables... Like ramen...”[/b] He said, the tone in his voice would easily offer her the image of him smiling widely as he made the motion of eating ramen. ”What... Favorite food?”[/b] He asked, the restaurant he was leading her to would be able to sedate close to any want but he was curious on what she would really want to eat so he would turn route encase they wouldn't what what she wanted. ”Look like... Like fruit... Maybe meat?”[/b] He asked, poking curiously at her as he continued to lead her forward, ignoring the gazes of the town members. Mana: 60/60 100%[/blockquote][/blockquote]
